Many people contributed their skills to these organizations including militia members, farmers, entrepreneurs, and schoolteachers. By 1907, there were over 100 registered firearm owners in Duncanville! Gun ownership was very common at that time because it was necessary for everyday activities such as hunting or farming. Ammunition was also essential for these activities due to the large number of shootings happening throughout southern Texas at that time. Gun control laws started coming into being during this time as well; however, they did not take effect until after World War II when guns became much more regulated statewide! In 1928, the Texas Railroad Company opened a branch line through Duncanville providing for an increased trade within the community as well as transport to nearby towns such as Irving and Grapevine. In 1959, Congress enacted the Civil Rights Act of 1964 which led to integration of schools throughout Texas including Duncanville where African American students had been resisting desegregation since before it became law. This act helped drive white parents out of black neighborhoods while also helping integrate businesses and social dynamics into everyday life for those living within these areas without experiencing any negative consequences firsthand like poverty or discrimination elsewhere around town or at work; something that would take many years for fully seeped into society at large after implementation across all levels until now with occasional protests here and there but overall acceptance (albeit slowly) among most people just like their ancestors did back when these things actually worked."
