Laser sights technology has been around for many years, and Denton, Texas is home to one of the earliest Laser Sight companies. In 1984, Bob Tilton founded Bushnell Optics in Denton, TX. The company was originally a Manufacturer/Tradesman for Laser Rangefinders and then eventually became a Composer/Developer of Laser Sight Technology. Bushnell Optics currently manufactures and exports both digital rangefinder lasers as well as laser sight systems for police and military use. Bushnell's primary product line was theBushnell SPS-1 Rifle Scope which used an advanced monochrome CCD display with electronic MOSFET transponders to provide real-time target sightings on a 3" wide screen device that sat on top of the rifle barrel. This scope offered several features including: 1) A very high resolution image with excellent contrast; 2) Low light sensitivity; 3) 4x magnification potential; 4) A detachable bipod system that allowed variable elevation adjustments up to +25 MOA while still keeping movement within +/-5 MOA tolerance; 5) Side focus adjustment ability up to +6 degrees from central focus point while maintaining side focus at infinity; 6) Manual windage adjustment capabilities (3 clicks per revolution); 7) Zeroed hold capability when sighting in using manual windage or zeroing methods other thanidelite metering or ballistic software input methods such as chronograph winding or directaddr metering devices. The Bushnell SPS-1 Rifle Scope was also available equipped with a duplex Greenlit reticle which could be illuminated by either an LED or Cree XP-G2 led brightness control depending on mission requirements including tactical illumination when outside daylight conditions where night vision may not be necessary. In 1992, Bushnell merged with ScopesUSA who markets various scopes under their own brand name products such as Scoped riflescope models HN6D (HiNgteQuartz red dot), HSVortex Viper Varmint Hunter XT (high power violet), BSA American Eagle Big Game 8x42mm spotting scope, Vortex PST Predator SC Pro ACOG Tactical Rifle Scope etc., amongst others). The resulting company would later become known as Vortex Corporation. The first production model of the new Vortex Viper Varmint Hunter XT rifle scope was released in 1993 making it one of the most popular scopes in history due its high quality optics and ease of operations despite its high price tag ($699). The Viper VarmintHunterXT featured: 1) 10mm objective lens diameter providing clear images even at lowlight levels; 2) A 26mm tube radius providing ample room for all types of ammunition shotshells without crowding; 3) High crosshairsecularity accuracy guaranteed by design - no matter how close your target is relative to your object you're hitting? 4x magnification potential makes this scope perfect for hunting big game calibers like coyotes, deer & turkey while also allowing users to hunt smaller game species like rabbits & rodents at lower magnifications if desired After over 25 years in business, Bob Tilton passed away in 2007 but his legacy will live on through his son John Tilton who runs Bushnell Optics today along with his team of dedicated employees who continue to produce world class laser sights products

Denton is a city in the Texas Panhandle, located inMidland County. The population was 33,895 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Midland County and home to Denton University. The land that now makes up Denton was first settled by Native Americans in the early 1800s. The area now known as Denton was annexed into Midland County in 1875, and its name derived from nearby Denton Lake. In 1912, Father John Mennonite Church began construction on what would eventually become main campus of Denton University; today it is one of college campuses in Texas with over 30,000 students enrolled. In 1933, when President Franklin Roosevelt announced his plan for Des Moines metropolitan area growth, he called for the annexation of all adjacent counties – including Midland County – to form a new agglomeration called "Dallas-Fort Worth". This idea failed because Dallas–Fort Worth had already annexed more counties than needed and Fort Worth did not want to be left behind in an all-new city development. In 1941, Pritzker Middle School opened on what is now Main Street near downtown Denton; it became one of the first middle schools open to students in Dallas-Fort Worth and helped spur development around it. In 1969, after a referendum passed by voters within Midland County (and also within Dallas-Fort Worth),Denton became an independent town with its own government and school district which still governs most aspects of life within the town limits today. On July 1st, 1984, during Hurricane Floyd's landfall on Texaco Field just outside of downtown Denton proper - killing 12 people - this community came together to help clean up aftermath even as their homes were destroyed or damaged beyond repair. For many years afterwards they have been known as “the guys from hurricane Floyd” because so much effort went into helping those affected by that storm without any recognition or reward from either government officials or private business interests who could have easily taken advantage of such disaster relief efforts during those difficult times

Denton's nickname "The City of Trees" comes from its abundance of oak trees and other trees that grow large in the city's parks. The first white person to live in what is now Denton was James Fenton who landed on an island near what is now downtown Denton on November 12, 1827. He named it Nantucket after his home country, England. In 1829, Samuel Hogg purchased land near what is now downtown Denton and built a house called Hogg House which remains standing today as one of the oldest structures within the limits of present-day Denton. Denton was founded by John Tatum who came to Texas from Virginia in 1836 with wagonloads of goods to start a new life west of the Mississippi River. He constructed a log cabin on current day Elm Street between High School Road and Main Street. Tatum became known as "The Father Of The Town". Through hard work and dedication, he built up a small town which included four stores, two churches (one Baptist), one schoolhouse (now used as apartments), three homes for rent (later converted into apartments), two taverns (later converted into restaurants), one blacksmith shop and several smaller businesses including an Odd Fellows Lodge No. 3 which still stands today as part of Pioneer Hall Park across from State Fairgrounds
