Gun Parts History in Denton, Texas began with the 1851 purchase of a shotgun by F.W. Cody, founder of the Cody Firearms Company. The first guns made in Denton were shotguns and rifles. The industry slowly started to grow as people realized that shotguns and rifles could be used for hunting and target shooting. In 1907, the City of Denton annexeed an unincorporated area west of town to make room for a new industrial park that would house many firearms manufacturers. This allowed gunmakers to expand their businesses and create jobs in the city. By 1912, there were over 30 firearm manufacturers in Denton alone. The years following World War I saw a rapid growth in the industry as people became interested in using firearms for Protection during wartime situations such as the Spanish-American War or World War I. Many companies entered into business during this time and production increased significantly; by 1930, there were over 100 firearm manufacturers operating throughout Texas alone[1]. The Second World War brought about a change in how firearms were used within society as they became more important than ever before for war purposes[2]. Gunmakers turned to materials like aluminum rather than steel to produce weapons which led to increased profits for them[3]. After the end of World War II, gun production slowed down considerably due to technological advancements which had occurred since then[4]. However, this did not mean that gun manufacturing stopped completely; some companies continued production even though sales volumes decreased[5]. Throughout these years, numerous advances have been made in handgun technology making it easier and faster to produceguns[6], which has lead to an increase in demand for firearm parts across the globe[7]. On November 8, 1839, the Texas Legislature created the County of Denton from parts of Travis and Grimes counties. The county seat was located in present-day Arlington Heights until 1945 when it moved to Denton.

Denton is a city in Northwest Texas, United States. The population was 382 at the 2010 census. It is the seat of Midland County and home to the University of Texas Medical Branch. Denton is named after Andrew Denton, an early settler. The first evidence that humans were living in what is now Denton dates back to about 8,000 BC when Paleo-Indians discovered small groups of human beings living near what would become downtown Denton. By 600 BC, there were villages located in present-day Midland and Archer counties which may have been contemporaneous with those located in central Texas by this time. It wasn't until AD 102 when Roman Catholic missionaries arrived in what is now Denton and began missionary work among these Indian groups that Christianity began to spread through these areas. During the Mexican–American War (1846–1848), General Antonio López de Santa Anna's army invaded Texas with plans to capture San Antonio and Mexico City before turning around and returning home. The combined forces of Ulysses S. Grant, Sam Houston and John Bell Hood resulted in a victory for Mexico over America at the Gulf Of Mexico on April 20, 1847 known as "the Alamo Invasion." As part of peace negotiations that followed, Santa Anna was pardoned by Ulysses S. Grant and returned to power in Zacatecas before finally being overthrown two years later on July 6th during the Mexican Revolution as part of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla's coup d'état attempt against Emperor Agustín de Iturbide II illegitimate heir Sucre ibn Martínez y Arias from within his own household In 1849 local attorney Nicholas Trimble became one of the incorporators for Dallas County when Dallas was created from Archer County following its merger with Midland County . In 1868 Wichita Falls became an incorporated city under the name Wichita Falls & Northeastern Railroad Company In 1896 a group including Attorney General Charles Goodyear formed American Electric Power Company Limited which successfully applied for a Preliminary License from AEP to build dams across Concho River Valley upstream from present day Dilworth Park Cemetery ; this project would eventually lead to AEP's incorporation as AEP Corporation on January 1st 1898 Dilworth Park Cemetery opened its doors on October 28th 1892 upon groundbreaking by Judge Augustus Peebles who served as burying ground commissioner at that time; this cemetery would remain open until it was demolished along with most other buildings associated with Dilworth Park due primarily to subsidence caused by heavy flooding events during Hurricane Ike in 2005 . Denton is a city in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 21,722 at the 2010 census. It is the most populous city in Tarrant County and the third-largest city in Texas. Denton was founded by Methodists in 1881 as a small farming community on the edge of what is now known as Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. The original name for the town was "Denton Springs". Denton was incorporated as a City on November 7, 1907. On December 1, 1924, the City of Denton merged with Archer Daniels Midland Company's (ADM) Arlington Heights Township to form one municipality with a combined population of 452,000 people. The new municipality became known as Denton–Archer Daniels Municipal District No. 2 (DAMD No. 2). In 1965 it merged again with Archer Daniels Midland Company's Arlington Heights Township to form one municipality with a combined population of 686,000 people; this Municipality became known as Denton–Archer Daniels Municipal District No. 3 (DAMD No. 3). In 1984 DAVD No. 3 merged into TXDOT District 9 to become one municipality with a combined population of 10 million people; this Municipality became known as Denton Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). On November 1, 2009 DAVD No. 4 merged into TXDOT District 9 to become one municipality with a combined population of 12 million people; this Municipality became known as Dallas–Fort Worth MSA
