From their shop at 8th and Elm Streets in downtown Corsicana, they began selling holsters for rifles and pistols. The first Holster Company was founded by Tilton and Feldhaus on November 20th of that year. They were the first company to produce holsters specifically for handguns. This company marked the beginning of the modern handgun holster market. In 1886, two brothers named Julius Feldhaus Sr., Jr., and Julius Feldhaus III established a new company called “The Pistol Shop” which produced holsters specifically for revolvers also known as “FeldhausHolster systems”. The products became very popular with law enforcement officers around the country because they were reliable and stylishly designed (pictured right). By 1912, when World War I started, pistol companies had begun producing hilfigers specifically for military use (ejection seats) however it wasn’t until 1911 when Colt introduced its original 1911 pistol that these devices became standard on American police cars during war time (pictured below). A few years later Ruger made their debut into the firearms market with their Model 10 Pistol which featured an innovative recoil pad system which allowed shooters to fire multiple rounds without having to reload

In 1955, the city hosted the first international fair in Texas.
Corsicana is a small town located in Dallas County, Texas, United States. The population was 18,543 at the 2010 census. Corsicana is the county seat of Dallas County. The city of Corsicana was founded in 1881 by John A. Hardin and Lillie Hardin as a trading post on the Brazos River. It became a major agricultural center during the early years of the 20th century and now has a population of about 27,000 people. The first settlers in Corsicana were men prospecting for oil and coal near present-day Fort Worth. In 1881, John A. Hardin organized a group of twenty men to purchase land east of Corsicana on the Brazos River from José Antonio Gálvez de la Torre y Pérez y Cabeza (1811-1884). They named their new settlement "Corsicana" after Mexican General Hidalgo Carlos Antonio de Borja y Costilla y Herrera (1789-1859), who had helped lead Mexico's successful attempt to stop American expansion into California in 1846. During its early years Corsaira was an important center for cattle drives to market in West Texas and points southward along the lower Rio Grande Valley because it possessed good roads and rail connections. By 1886, Corsaira had become one of the leading cottonseed production centers in Texas due to its excellent irrigation systems and other advantages over other localities around that time such as Commerce City (now Midland) and Waco
The history of holsters can be traced back to the 16th century when Englishmen began gunning down Indians. One of the earliest holster designs was a type that used straps and buckles to secure the gun to the person's body. This design became known as a "Belt Holster." In 1868, American Abraham Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln's Vice President, Andrew Johnson, replaced Johnson on the ticket and took office on November 4th. On that day, Johnson brandished a revolver in one hand and a saber in the other as he took his oath of office. In 1865, America had acquired approximately 60 million rifles and pistols. The number of handguns had not yet reached this level however; so holster designers were still looking for new ways to attach firearms to people’s bodies. They came up with various designs including "Gun Pouch Holster" which allowed you to carry your handgun without having it hang off your waistband like a belt buckle did for many people at that time. In 1927, another holster designer named Albrecht Dürer designed what is now known as the Durer Holster which consisted of an adjustable strap around your opponent’s waist that held their firearm close against their body while they slept or during an ambush situation where they would be difficult or impossible to grab if they got away cleanly. The holster also featured “Gutta Percha” (a kind of rubber) plates that would help protect your opponents clothing from being stained with blood should they get captured alive (later iterations also featured metal reinforcing bars). During World War II, Americans started using handguns more frequently than before because of their need for firepower in battle. Gun manufacturers decided that holsters were something that could be marketed directly to civilians rather than just military personnel because there were more civilian casualties caused by guns than military deaths due to warfare ever did. So soon after Pearl Harbor happened in 1941 America entered into World War II with an abundance of handguns and no need for holsters since everyone already carried rifles/pistols openly! However, this didn't last long because shortly after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor America decided it needed all those handguns just like everyone else needed food and ammo! And so within months Americans were carrying pistols everyWHERE!!! HOLSTERS HAD ARRIVED! But only very recently have we begun really appreciating them again!!!!

Corsicana, Texas was founded in 1856 by an Italian-American man, Antonio Corsicano. The town’s name is derived from the Italian word for “fortress.” Corsicana quickly became a center of cotton and cattle trading, and its commercial district was known as the Cotton Belt. In 1965, Corsicana was designated a city by the Texas General Assembly. Today, Corsicana remains a small agricultural town with a population of around 100 residents. The first settlers in Corsicana were farmers who came to the area in search of land that had been abandoned by the Comanches during the Mexican-American War. By 1870, however, most of the original settlers had moved away because of poor soil and difficult terrain. In 1876, two men named George Smith and Harry Hines established a post office near present day Corsicana on what is now State Highway 287. That same year, John Waddell arrived in Corsicano with his family to start an oil refinery called Waddell & Sons Refinery Company. Waddell also built a grocery store and 2 churches in addition to establishing himself as one of Corsicanos’ most important citizens. In 1887, Jens Osterholm arrived in Corsicano with his family to set up an insurance business called Osterholm & Son Insurance Company which would become one of the largest insurance companies inTexas at that time. In 1893, John Pemberton arrived in Corsicano with his wife Anna Mae Pemberton to open what would become known as Pemberton’s Barbecue restaurant which would later be renamed The Gilded Cage Lounge after its owner got divorced from Anna Mae Pemberton (who later opened her own nightclub). By 1915, there were only 12 residents living within walking distance of downtown Musser Street where today's Main Street stands . The lack of accessibility to resources such as water or transportation made it difficult for people to grow crops or build businesses so many years ago; however this did not stop many local entrepreneurs from starting businesses including: Anvil Insurance Agency (now Famous Flowers), Sam Steele Garage (now Steele Truckstop), Mrs Fenton's hat shop (now Mrs Fenton's Cleaners) and Foley Drug Store (which closed its doors when Foley Drugs went out OF BUSINESS).

The area was named after a small town in Spain, Corsica. In 1836, Mexican Americans who had fought for Mexico against Mexico's Santa Anna administration began to migrate to Texas and established what is now known as the Mexican American Republic. In 1846, Texan General Antonio López de Santa Anna ordered all Mexicans living in Texas be expelled and replaced with Anglo-Americans. This order led to a series of bloody raids by Anglo-American forces on Mexican settlements throughout the state of Texas. By 1850, about 60% of Texans were Anglo-American and only about 25% were Mexican American.
