In 2006, Corsicana had an estimated population of 514 residents living within its boundaries only as citizens or foreign nationals registered with the US government for tax purposes (the remaining 3,827 residents were native-born Texans). However, according to recent censuses conducted by the Texas Department of State Health Services between 2009 and 2013 there has been no change in resident population size since then which suggests that either immigration or annexation has caused no net change to local resident populations
