The club met regularly until 1881 when it merged into the Corinth Pistol Club. The first president of the Corinth Pistol Club was Wm Cundiff. He served for many years before his death in 1903. During his tenure as president, he helped develop important techniques for shooting airguns which still hold true today- such as using a bipod or headquater stock on an airgun! One of his most famous accomplishments as president was helping found and manage the biggest airgun fair in America- which took place at Hammondsport, Indiana in 1907! The next president of the club was Jno Davies who served from 1912 until 1916. He also helped develop methods for firing multiple rounds simultaneously with an airgun- something that still remains popular today! After Mr. Davies' term ended, Joe Gorman became president for three years from 1921-23 before being replaced by Jack Foley who remained in office until 1933! during which time there were no major changes occur

Its demographics reflect that of much rural southeast Texas: small towns with self-sufficient economies are replaced by large commercial districts with amenities such as hospitals and shopping malls.
