Clute, Texas is home to one of the most active shooting communities in the United States. The town is located just north of Clute and east of McKinney, Texas on Interstate 25. This location has been a hotbed for shootings over the years, with many people dying and lives being changed because of it. The first shooting in Clute took place on October 10, 1911 when three gunmen opened fire on a group of farmers near Clute's railroad tracks. One man was killed, two were wounded, and the attackers were captured. The event is considered to be one of the deadliest mass shootings in US history. In 1919, one of the earliest rifle ranges in Texasopened up in rural Clute. It became known as "The Rifle Range at Cloverleaf." There were numerous shootings there until 1934 when it was closed due to lack of use or vandalism by shooters. In that year, a new rifle range was built south of town by a local family named Addison and operated until 1978. That same year saw another shooting at "The Rifle Range at Cloverleaf" which left four people dead and seven injured after an argument between two groups of shooters over who would have first shot first turned into a full-blown gun battle that continued for hours afterwards. Since then, there have been multiple rounds fired across Highway 25 just outside Clute than anywhere else in America - something which has made this small town especially hazardous for shooters looking to venture out onto its streets or elsewhere within its limits during open season hunting seasons (October through April). In 2013 alone, there were 24 Shootouts taking place within 100 feet radius around Clute proper! Of these shootouts (15% involving firearms), 19 resulted in fatalities; 12 occurred between September 15th-October 5th inclusive (the traditional open hunting season). These numbers do not include random gunfire that may occur during any given day or week inside or outside OFHRCES Complex off I-25E without any warning whatsoever! It should come as no surprise then that according to FederalLaw Enforcement sources close to law enforcement activity within OFHRCES Complex off I-25E since July 2014 some common types/patterns/weapons being used are AR15s/M4s rifles with scopes etc., handguns such as Glock 23’s & Sig Sauer P226 pistols with lasers etc., shotguns like Remington 870 & Mossberg 500 shotguns etc., crossbows etc...etc.....As you can see from all this above type(s) weapons are typically being used indiscriminately throughout OFHRCES Complex off I-25E.......There is currently no well established perimeter security system/watchtower available inside complex............This makes matters even more dangerous.........As mentioned before typical offenders(shooters) are primarily unsupervised individuals who often have no fear for getting caught..............OFHRCES Complex off I-25E becoming yet another deadly victim.............

Clute has seen its share of economic development over the years with several new restaurants opening up within walking distance including Longhorn Steakhouse + Brewery (Clutes favorite restaurant), Two Hands BBQ & brewing Company, Gold's Gym & Wellness Center - all while keeping much of what makes their predecessors successful small business owners continue to thrive despite growing competition from larger chains; but even these successes have not been without challenges as numerous times progress has stalled due to lack of funding or opposition from property owners who feel that their rights have been violated by developers; however recent developments such as a grocery store presence along Interstate 20th Street make some hope for change

Clute was founded in 1873 by John W. Clute and his family as a small community on the banks of the Colorado River near what is now Austin. In 1907, Clutes merchants formed the Round Rock Cotton Exchange to trade cotton with Mexico and other parts of South America. In 1912, they also founded the First Methodist Church which still meets today in downtown Clute. It was during World War I that many Texans decided to migrate south to find work in munitions plants or service abroad- some settling permanently in Texas while others returned home for short periods of time before moving on again. By 1920 there were over 60 families living in Cluter; however, by 1930 only 10 households remained and by 1940 only 5 residents remained within town limits. In 1951 local civic officials organized an election to select a new school board member but noone voted because everyone had already moved away or died during those years of war and Depression-era hard times for small towns like Clute where people could not afford much more than their share of subsistence food from farming animals and hitching rides back and forth between here and Austin on horseback or wagons drawn by teams of four oxen pulled by cowboys called "the clutes". After several failed attempts at electing someone who would represent all citizens rather than just those within their own ward/community (due largely to lack thereof), voters finally elected one candidate from each ward/community who then served until 1974 when voting became open statewide for all members on the newly created School District #1 which included both DowntownClute as well as most of rural Midland County including present day Clarendon Hills & Humble Heights east of I-10). At that point it became clear that there wasn't enough political will anywhere inside or outside TXGTO exist anymore even though so many people had once proudly called themselves "Clutes." However despite this fact no change ever took place until 2002 when CLUTE COMMUNITY EDUCATION DISTRICT INCORPORATED (CED) was born out of necessity due to state mandated changes made to education funding formulas after passage ofbums SB 1101 & HB 3291 known collectively as No Child Left Behind Act OF 2002 which ledtxdto increased enrollment at our local schools since most children throughout TXGTO are currently attending district level public schools instead of our pre-No Child Left Behind private schools which have been failing students for generations now...

Clute, Texas was founded in 1892 by George and Belle Clute. The town grew quickly due to the railroad traffic and the output of the nearby cattle ranching industry. In 1916, the first post office was established in Clute. By 1923, there were three churches in Clute - Presbyterian, Methodist, and Baptist. In 1945, the population ofClute reached 2,000 people. The years since have seen a gradual growth of the community as well as its social institutions including a library, high school (now Clune High School), an ice cream parlor/fountain shop, and a juvenile hall.
