Gun lights first appeared in Cedar Park, Texas in the early 1800s. At that time, Cedar Park was a small town located on the banks of the Colorado River. The town was founded by Mormon missionaries in 1847. The missionaries used their carriages to transport goods and passengers to and from Salt Lake City. One of the first cars owned by the missionaries was a wagon pulled by two horses. This vehicle was called a "gazebo" because it sat on top of a gazebo that served as the town's Headquarters. The first gun lights were designed to help soldiers during engagements with Native Americans. Gun lights allowed commanders to see targets better than if they had to use traditional hand-held optics. After World War I, gunlights became more common for law enforcement officers and firefighters. Today, gunlights are still used by police officers and firefighters in various ways around the world.

Cedar Park is a city in Denton County, Texas, United States. The population was 362 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex and is located on the eastern border of Midtown Dallas. Cedar Park was founded in 1881, and became a city on July 1, 1907. The Kress family started out as farmers in what is now Cedar Park. After some time they decided to move to town so that they could better enjoy their new location and have more privacy from their neighbors due to the fact that towns were then only 20 miles wide (32 km). They soon realized how important it was for them to be close to all the businesses that supported downtown Dallas. The Kress family would continue farming until 1919 when they sold their land and moved into Cedar Park permanently. In 1916 they built what is now the first home in Cedar Park – a two-story frame house with a wraparound porch which remains today as one of its many attractions. The first post office in Cedar park opened on October 3, 1881 (). That same year saw the opening of what are now three churches: First Baptist Church (now Old Main Presbyterian), Methodist Episcopal Church (now First Methodist), and Trinity Episcopal Church (). All three churches remain active today and each weekday morning sees hundreds of worshippers enter through their doors! In 1925 an L-shaped park was created by combining parts of two other parks – Elmwood Park (on Elm Street) and Spring Creek Ranch (near present day Loop 610 West). The name for this newly formed park? "Cedar Ridge". This name stuck around for years because it wasn't taken up by any other cities within Denton County before being given to Cedarpark! On December 15, 1928 area citizens ratified an ordinance creating streets within our boundaries which included current day Interstate 30 eastbound between I-40 & I-695; future Nueces Valley Rd.;current Saginaw Rd.;and future Winters Rd.(later renamed Ardent Dr.)(see map below). This allowed us our very own street grid system which we still use today! On February 2nd, 1949 another ordinance changed our street grid system again making Clay Road into Morning Star Drive(see map below). However this change didn't last too long as another ordinance changing our street grid system back again happened just one week later on March 17th – this time making Northside Dr.(a road leading from US 290 eastbound) into Southside Dr.(a road leading from US 290 westbound) making both roads one block long!!! Although not everyone liked this change it did allow us more convenience because we could easily access each other's properties without having to go door-to-door 🙂 Today there are over 100 unique streets/roads within CedarPark proper including 15 main thoroughfares plus 9 satellite routes! Plus there are numerous alleyways, driveways, roadsides etc…..that make up our unique character!!!

Cedar Park is a small city in the county of Hidalgo, Texas, United States. It was founded in 1876 by settlers from Illinois. The population was 9,549 at the 2010 census. Cedar Park is named for the cedar tree that once grew there. The first people to live in Cedar Park were two families who arrived from Illinois in 1876. They built a log cabin on the banks of the Arkansas River and called it Cedar Grove. Over time, other families moved into Cedar Park and began to establish businesses and farms there. In 1916, Cedar Park was incorporated as a city. The original City Hall building still stands today and is used as municipal office space. In 1927, an express train derailment occurred near Cedar Park which caused extensive damage to property and killed many people including Mayor James Donnellan and three children who were playing on the tracks nearby. This event became known as "The Train Crash". A $5 million dollar recovery project was started soon after to replace some of the destroyed infrastructure and improve safety for residents and commuters alike. In 2003, a new ballpark was built in downtown CedarPark called "Bulldog Stadium". The park hosted its first games that year against Rice University before becoming home to the Houston Astros baseball team starting in 2009 until their move to Minute Maid Park in 2015. In 2016, Bulldog Stadium underwent renovations which included adding disabled access ramps for those with disabilities as well as expanding seating capacity up to 2,500 people making it one of only six major MLB stadiums without such features at press time (the others being Fenway Park in Boston, Wrigley Field in Chicago Cubs townhome park Arlington Heights IL., Yankee Stadium New York City).
