The shop became very popular and continued to be run by Hickory and his son until 1949 when they sold their business to Mr. Harry Hennessey. From 1949-1968, Mr. Harry Hennessey ran the shop with his wife Mrs. Juana Hennessey until they passed away both due to health problems. At this time, their son John took over the running of the business until 1978 when he too passed away from a heart attack at the age of 63 years old. attribute most of the success of firearm hat sales during this time period to Mrs. Juana’s husband John which included being able to provide great customer service as well as her knowledge about handguns, shotguns, and ammunition products that made these items available at affordable prices for shooters all around Texas! In 1943, Ira Ladd became headmaster of Haskell Academy in Wichita Falls after serving as superintendent for two years at Midwestern State Teachers College (now Kansas State University). He had been assistant principal at Haskell from 1944 to 1945 and then heading its elementary school before that position when he came to Wichita Falls as Western District Superintendent for Texas Education Agency'sHouston district where he led all private schools within HISD until his retirement in 1977 Ladd's successor as headmaster was Clyde Kapp who served from 1978 to 1984 Kapp left Haskell after an acrimonious split over leadership control within the school's boardroom which led to charges of sexual harassment against him by some board members

Cedar Hill is a town in Johnson County, Texas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,752. Cedar Hill was founded in 1879 by Scots-Irish settlers. The original name of the town was "Johnstown". The first post office at Cedar Hill opened on October 1, 1879. The early settlers were John Hickey and his wife Anna borrowdale, both natives of Scotland. From 1881 to 1886, Cedar Hill had its own school district. In 1907 the community merged with Pleasant Prairie to form a new municipality called Pleasant Prairie and Cedar Hill. In 1912 the name reverted back to Cedar Hill when it lost its separate municipality status again due to incorporation into Johnson County as part of a larger plan that aimed to unify allJohnson Counties into one entity. In 1920 Cedarhill became an independent city after being granted a charter by the Texas Legislature under then-Governor Alfred Mccluney. However, this independence lasted only until 1924 when the city joined Johnson County for all purposes including taxation and government buildings (including City Hall). With its annexation into Johnson County came many changes for CedarHill residents; most notably increased taxes which depressed prices of residences and led some people to leave town during World War II in order to avoid drafted service or find work elsewhere within the war zone; however many returned once hostilities lifted in 1945 although some families left permanently because of social problems caused by high tax rates and little opportunity for EBT assistance during wartime (the food stamps program provided assistance during peacetime). For years afterwards there has been debate over whether or not CedarHill should have remained an independent city given that it has more amenities than what is available within Johnson County while also having less support from county officials
