Brenham, Texas is a small town located in the Williamson County seat of Dallas. The population was 1,515 at the 2010 census. Brenham is home to two gun ranges, one open to the public and one closed to the public. The Brenham Gun Range opened its doors in 1941 and has been running continuously since then. In 2016, the Brenham Gun Range became a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). The Brenham Gun Range’s history began with World War I when America entered into war against Great Britain. Because of this conflict, many civilians were killed as they collected food for their families during the war. One man who was impacted by this conflict was Ellis Dyson who founded Dyson Guns & Ammo in 1916. At that time, Dysonguns & Ammo did not sell guns but provided customers with ammunition and supplies needed during wartime. In 1939, Joe Ritchie started selling ammo at his store on Main Street called West Side Ammunition which later became known as Ritchie’s Firearms Supply Co., Ltd., now known as JRH Ammunition Company Incorporated (JRH AIMCo.). This company first operated out of an old garage on Elm Street in downtown Brenham. It wasn’t until after World War II that JRH Ammo built its first factory near Loop 610 which sits today between Pecan Road and Cottonwood Drive NW in northwest Dallas suburb Irving Mills subdivision off Interstate 665 just east of I-635 interchange (I-635 bridge). In 1951 JRH AIMCo moved into their current building at 10800 Preston Rd #202 in north Dallas – just south of Northlake Mall - next door to Republic Services Corporation where it remained until 2003 when company sold assets to ArmaLite Industries LLC subsidiary FN SCAR Division No 5483 before being renamed JRHP Ammunition Corporation effective July 1st 2004 thru December 31st 2006 making it one of only four American companies with both FN SCAR Division numbers) responsible for manufacturing rounds used by all 50 United States military services worldwide! In late 2006 ArmaLite Industries LLC subsidiary FN SCAR Division No 5483 changed its name back to JRHP Ammunition Corporation effective January 1st 2007 thru December 31st 2009 making it one of only two U.S.-based companies manufacturing rounds used by all 50 United States military services worldwide! On October 14th 2009 private equity firm CSCO acquired all assets from JRHP Ammunition Corporation ending its yearslong ownership providing an opportunity for revolver shooter/collectors Sam Goldin and Jay Crockett from Huntsville Alabama to purchase majority interest from CSCO owning less than 52% shareholding left over from prior ownership

Brenham is a small town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,653 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fort Worth-Arlington-San Antonio metropolitan area. Brenham is located on the eastern edge of Tarrant County and has an area of just over square miles. Brenham has a long history with agriculture and ranching as its primary sector of economy. Many of the buildings in downtown are from this time period, including a schoolhouse built in 1868 and an armory that served as a local post office from 1881 to 1907. Today, many businesses in Brenham are focused on services such as health care and technology companies such as Google and Facebook. The first permanent settler in what would become Brenham was James Hennigan who came to the area around 1823 from Ireland. He started a farm about three miles east of present day Brenham on land that now includes much of northeast Garner County. A few years later he married Anna Maria Jourdan which led to his name being changed to Hennigan after her father-in-law's family home near Dallas (now Downtown Dallas). In 1830, Johnnie Benton moved into what is now northeast Garner County from Illinois and began trading goods with Hennigan for hides and other goods he acquired along the way from Native American people living along the banks of the Trinity River southward into central Texas. This trade allowed him to build up some wealth that allowed him to purchase 5 acres (20,000 m²) adjacent to where present day downtown Brenham stands today for $2 per acre ($10 million today). In 1831/32, Johnnie Benton also purchased another 5 acres (20,000 m²) further west near present day Midway Airport for $4 per acre ($24 million today). From these two purchases alone, Johnnie Benton amassed some 240 acres (10 km²) worth of land which would eventually become BrenHAM! In 1836/37 James Bogue arrived from Virginia with his family following a chase by Indian forces led by Colonel George Armstrong Custer less than two weeks after their arrival in western Texas overland via Mexico City on November 3rd,. Bogue had been sent out by General Sam Houston as part of his relief effort following Custer's famous Battle Of Red River Bridge expedition against Mexican forces earlier that year which resulted in more than 300 dead or missing among Texans Conflict between Texan settlers and Comanche Indians raged until 1850 when finally peace was negotiated ending all hostilities except intermittent skirmishes until 1861 when Confederate forces unsuccessfully attacked Texan positions at San Jacinto resulting in 200 deaths including 100 Texans - most notable leading officer Captain William Travis . By 1860 there were only 7 families remaining scattered throughout northeastern Tarrant County having lost all but one house during those five years! This lack of success may have been due both to poor soil conditions caused by wind erosion combined with hostile Comanche Indians; however competition for resources may also have played a role; plus it seems likely that many men simply left because they could not maintain successful farming seasons given prevailing market prices for agricultural commodities at that time! Later growth within this small community took place through annexation by neighboring towns starting with Midway then Arlington then West Arlburne before finally becoming centrally located within Tarrant County proper through incorporation under charter effective January 1st 1870 followed soon thereafter by concurrent creation of Fort Worth city limits encompassing much surrounding rural territory making it possible for single detached families like Bogue’s & others involved originally only peripherally (& sometimes antagonistically) within city limits while economically (& socially) integrated inside city boundaries! BrenHAM quickly became 2nd largest city & county seat in TX behind FORT WORTH !!!!! Though often overshadowed contemporarily due largely To rapidly expanding FW commercial center dominance – even still position remains highly endowed thru residual economic impact generated thru several centuries’endeavor

Brenham is a town in McLennan County, Texas, United States. The population was 3,755 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. Brenham was founded on November 1, 1879 by John A. Brenham and James W. Stephenson as a small community named "Breckenridge". On December 6th of that year, the first post office opened in Brenham with two mailbags from Austin. On July 12th, 1881, the name was changed to "Breckenridge" after one of its founders became an Territorial Senator for Brazoria County The first store in Brenham was built on Main Street and operated by J.M. Williamson until it closed in 1886 due to financial difficulties caused by drought and increasing competition from larger stores opening up around town. The first school in Brenham was built in 1889 and operated by Mrs. Clements until it closed also due to financial difficulties in 1893 due to changes in local climate which made growing corn difficult during the dry years. For many years there were no schools within walking distance of most residents so youngsters had to take walks or ride their horses to get to school; however this changed when the McLennan School District opened up shop near downtown Austin in 1906 and offered free transportation for students throughout Austin including rides home on Saturdays! In 1907, Mr & Mrs Wilburn began operating a grocery store on First Street which continued operation until it burned down in 1928-29 following a storm that caused extensive damage across much of eastern McLennan County from Tyler texas southward The original Stonington Ranch Adobe located just east of present day Brenham on State Highway 146 served as both a summer home for presidential family members (Ulysses S Grant stayed there while his wife Julia toured Europe) as well as offices used by various ranchers who leased portions of ranchland from President Taft during his presidency including Edwin Stonington himself who moved into theadobe after he became U S Marshal for Texas In 1916 Lewis Noyes established his famous Noyes Radio Store here providing all manner of audio/video products not found any where else including live programming being aired at night using an old oil lamp which he hung over doorways leading into store while customers listened through headphones In 1927 Romanco Lamar bought 5% interest in Noyes Radio Store giving him total domination over industry becoming known simply as Romanco Lamar's Radio Company later renamed KRLD-TVChannel 3
