The Bellaire Rifle and Pistol Club started in 1892. The club was originally called the "Old timers" because it was founded before the turn of the century. In 1907, the club changed its name to the "Bellaire Rifle and Pistol Association." In 1912, members of the association formed a rifle range in honor of General James Fenton who had died in action during World War I. In 1916, a pistol range also was established in honor of General Fenton. In 1921, the association changed its name to the "Bellaire Rifle and Pistol Club Inc." In 1932, membership increased to 330 individuals and they organized their own gun show which is still held annually. In 1933, members created their own firearm magazine which became known as "The Bellaire Gun News". In 1934-1935, they organized their first annual skeet tournament which became an annual tradition.
Bellaire is a small town in the US state of Texas. It is located south of Austin and west of Dallas. As of the 2010 census, the population was 10,713. The community is named after General James K. Bell, who fought in the Mexican-American War and afterwards served as an army general in Texas. The first settler in what would become Bellaire was Captain John Denton, who arrived in 1836 from Virginia. By 1840, there were fourteen families living here; by 1851 there were thirty-six people living here. The first school was established in 1849 by Mrs Neely and Miss Henson with six students; it was eventually replaced by achool called Prairie View A&M which opened its doors to children on September 15th1894. upgrading to high school brought new opportunities for locals such as Everett “Buzz” Baughman (1915-2003), who became one of the most successful entrepreneurs ever to come out of Bellaire. With a degree from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Buzz began his career as an account executive at PepsiCo before becoming CEO of Texaco Mobile Communications Inc., one of the largest mobile phone companies in America during that time period – making him one of Texas’s wealthiest men and leading his company into new markets around the world including South Africa, Spain and Japan . At Paramount Pictures he led charge development for several critically acclaimed films including Rambo II: First Blood Part II and Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope . After Paramount's sale to Viacom they renamed their movie division Paramount Pictures Entertainment Group (PE) which included much younger filmmakers like Alexander Payne whose film Sideways made $200 million domestically & worldwide on its initial release back in 1998 while Children Of Men failed commercially & received mixed reviews but still generated over $60 million+ worldwide off its theatrical run

Bellaire, Texas is a small town in Tarrant County, Texas. The population was 1,829 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Fort Worth-Arlington Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first European to sight the area now known as Bellaire was Captain James Cook on his voyage around Australia in 1770. He named it "New South Wales" after this spot on Australian soil. By 1836, Bellaire had a post office and three stores. A year later, the community had 10 residents and two dwellings. In 1847, Texas entrepreneur John Wesley Hardin donated land to make an oil field possible in what is now Tarrant County; he also provided $5 million for its development. The Hardin Oil Field was developed primarily by Anglo-American interests with help from Anglo-Mexican investors such as Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna and Manuel López de Santa Anna. By 1888, Bellaire's population had increased to 300 residents; however, by 1900 only 110 remained when the oilfield began production (it peaked at 2 million barrels per day in 1920). Although oil production ceased in 1950 due to depletion of resources, Bellaire continued to thrive as a small town with a strong economy based on agriculture (poultry farming being one of its mainstay businesses). In recent years much progress has been made within the town - including new retail and business ventures such as KFC and Hooters - but there remain some Concerns about lapsing economic vitality that could lead to social unrest if not addressed effectively
Bellaire is a city in and the county seat of Bell County, Texas, United States. The population was 10,029 as of the 2010 census. It was founded by George H. Bell in 1876 and named for him. The city was originally known as "Lubbock" because Lubbock County was at that time headquartered there.
