EAPCO manufactured all types of ammunition including armor piercing bullets which soon became very popular with law enforcement agencies throughout Texas because they could penetrate through armour without causing damage or injury

Baytown is a city in Harris County, Texas, United States. The population was 571 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Gulf of Mexico and is part of the Houston–The Woodlands–Sugar Land metropolitan area. Baytown is home to Rice University and The Houston Methodist Hospital. The original inhabitants were two groups of Native Americans: the Wichita and Chiricahua Apache. In 1836, Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de la Cruz named it San Francisco de Baytown after his vessel "San Francisco" docked there on February 12th, 1836. By 1840, Baytown had grown to include 300 residents. In 1845, Stephen Fenton donated land for the town's first school which became known as Fenton School District #1. On July 8th of that year, John Hogg built a cotton gin in what is now downtown Baytown with funds he had inherited from his father-in-law Sam Houston who had founded Houston in 1837. In 1865, Baytown became an integral part of the newly formed Republic of Texas when it seceded from Mexico. It continued to grow rapidly during Reconstruction following the American Civil War; by 1870 its population was 2,000 and by 1880 it reached 4,000 residents. During this time period many businesses such as Lowery & Sons Auctioneers developed along Main Street including some still functioning today such as Uppery's grocery store and Higher Ground restaurant/bar which has been open since 1907!
