Angleton is a little town in Kerr County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,859 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Kerr County. Angleton was founded by Joshua and Anna Angleton in 1837. The first post office was established in 1839. In 1846, the Angletons erected a log cabin on what is now North Main Street. They also founded a Methodist church and school in what is now Angleton. In 1870, John Hildebrandt arrived from Germany and opened a grocery store in what is now downtown Angleton. He later became mayor of Kerr County and served until his death in 1907. The first oil well was drilled in 1903 by George Wacoal under contract with Texaco Company for A&P Oil Refining Company Limited (later ExxonMobil). According to the 2000 US Census there were 1,864 people residing in Angleton when it peaked at 2,046 residents during the 2006-2010 period; however this number has decreased since then due mainly to decreases seen throughout most of Texas due to an economic recession as well as natural disasters such as Hurricane Ike which caused extensive damage to many homes and businesses within the town limits

This allowed it to be fired multiple times without having to be recharged. By 1902, all electric weapons capable of causing physical injury were legal in the United States. With their increased effectiveness, tasers became increasingly popular among law enforcement officers across the country. However, they still lacked accuracy and could sometimes injure or kill bystanders if used carelessly or not at all Times were different now though; there are countless stories about people being killed by police using tasers: from Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014 to Freddie Gray in Baltimore Maryland in 2015 (among others). There is no doubt that this technology should be given more serious scrutiny as its potential use becomes increasingly problematic and dangerous
In November of 2006, the Canadian government announced that it would be reviewing the possibility of purchasing tasers. The rationale for this review was to determine if there were any concerns about their potential use in line with the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. At the time, tasers had not been approved by the Canadian Health Minister as a medical device.
The town of Angleton, Texas was founded in 1881 by a group of men who came to the area in search of new land. The town was named for General William Tecumseh Sherman, who had fought in the Mexican-American War. The town quickly became a stop on the railroad and developed into a small farming community. In 1916, Angleton was renamed for Edwin A. Armstrong, Jr., who had played an important role in developing oil production in Texas.
