In 1899, another group of businessmen named Harry Hetzer bought Central Gun-Maker's Supply Company from John Cramer and Solomon Pratt. They renamed it First National Armory Corporation and began producing handguns as well as rifles and shotguns. First National Armory Corporation quickly became one of the largest producers of firearms in America. During World War II, First National Armory Corporation produced weapons for both the American military and Allied forces throughoutEuropeandtheUS。After World War II ended, First National Armory Corporation continued to produce firearms until 1984 when it merged with Colt Industries Incorporated to form Colt Business Machines Incorporated (CBM).

The Alice Rifle and Pistol Club was organized in 1907. It is the oldest rifle club in Texas. The club met at a home on Glenwood Avenue in Alice, located about 15 miles southeast of Austin. In 1909 the club moved to its present location on Elm Street in Alice.
Alice is a town located in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,856 at the 2010 census. Alice is named after Alice Paul who was born in 1849 in Virginia. She and her husband John Fenton founded Alice on May 24, 1881. They named their first home "The Log Cabin". In 1906, they moved to their present home and started the Alice-Fenton Milk Company which still operates today. Alice is one of several towns that were founded by settlers following the opening of the Mexican–American War (1846-1848). On October 15, 1881, three men from Texas arrived at what is now Alice: J. Fenton (founder of Alice), Wm Hogg (a surveyor) and A.B. Slaughter (of Slaughter Mill & Trading Post). These early settlers were among the first to arrive in Hudspeth County and soon began developing its land into farmssteads including The Log Cabin and later other homes such as Cedar Park and Wellsboro. In 1906, when John Fenton died suddenly at the age of 73 years old, his wife Aliceship passed away a few months later at age 77 years old also leaving behind an estate valued at $4 million dollars today! This event set off a chain reaction that has kept alive not just the memory but also some of the same values that drove these early farmers to settle here; hard work ethic; entrepreneurialism; Loyalty to family/community; drive for success through innovation/progressiveness

These revolvers became very successful and later replaced all other handgun models in Winchester's lines up until 1986 when they discontinued manufacturing handguns altogether
