The trigger can be pulled back, letting the firearm fire, or pulled forward, allowing the firearm to be fired without having to Manual Fire. There are different types of triggers available on the market today, including DA/SA (double action/single action) and GADGET TRIGGER(Glock-Action Trigger). A Glock-Action Trigger is an example of a trigger type that is typically found in non-automatic firearms such as shotguns and rifles. This type of trigger has two sides that are positioned at different heights within their housing. When you pull the trigger, both sides will move in opposite directions which will cause your weapon to fire. There are also manual fires versions of Glock-Action Triggers that are not compatible with automatics - thesetriggeres must be fired by means other than squeezing the grip onto the stock and pulling back on the lever - such as using an airsoft gun's piston system or using a finger release system like most 1911 handguns have. Double Action (DA) triggers operate in one shot mode where you squeeze off two rounds at once before depressingthe grip again and firing again; while single action (SA) triggers work in only one shot mode where you pull down onthe grip and let go before firing; this difference comes into play when it comes time to cock your weapon for another round. A DA/SA trigger can also be set up for left or right handed shooters depending upon what type of handgun they own. The Alamo is a Unitarian church in San Antonio, Texas that was the scene of a shootout on March 18, 1836. The event is considered one of the most famous and important battles in American history. The Alamo was built in 1725 by Mission Santa Anna as a chapel for the Franciscan friars who had arrived in San Antonio two years earlier. The building served as their mission until its destruction in 1836. In 1735, Mexican general Rufus Gonzales attacked and destroyed the monastery at Monterey de las Cruzes, south of San Antonio. This action provokeda response from Father José de Escobar, an Italian missionary (later Jesuit) who founded missions at Monterey and other sites around Austin.Escobar persuaded King Charles II of Spain to establish an imperial Mexican garrison at San Antonio to protect Spanish colonists living there against possible Indian attacks. In 1737, Escobar raised an army under his command and marched northward toward Mexico City with orders to capture or destroy Montereyde lasCruzes before Spanish colonialists could build another monastery nearby. Escobar reached San Antonio on April 12th after marching more than 100 miles over difficult terrain. He encampment near what is now downtown was soon besieged by up to 1,000 Mexican troops under General Manuel Gomez y Blanco and Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Castilla y Menendez;[1] however, only about 60 Americans were present including 10 militiamen and six conventual women (the Convent of Despertado). On April 15th, local militia led by Captain Fernando Rivera converged on the Mexicans while they ate dinner inside the fortifications; within minutes Rivera opened fire from close range killing all but two of those defending him,[2] thus beginning what became known as "The Battle of Pecos". By dawn the next day all assailants had been killed or captured with no loss on either side.[3][4] Aftermath: neither side estimated its losses accurately; some historians estimate that about 20 Americans died,[5][6] many more likely due to capture or disease during this chaotic momentous event...Aftermath [of battle]: Many Mexicans were executed or detained due to Cartago's order which prohibited looting...A year later Rufus Gonzales would again attempt an attack on Presidio de la Bahía where he met stiff resistance from Santiago Bernal who successfully defended it until February 13th when he surrendered without conditions...Gomez then ordered Lopez not to resist any longer but instead deliver mexican prisoners into my hands if I wanted them alive...This caused resentment among some soldiers because they desired revenge rather than giving up their loved ones AMAILO Massacre March 1836 Texas History
