The Tullahoma Rifle Club, Inc. was formed on Jan. 3, 1911 in Tullahoma, TN by a group of citizens who were interested in the regulation and ownership of firearms. The club developed a collection of rifles and shotguns that it has since been able to offer for sale and rent to members. In 1924, the club held its first Annual Meeting which was attended by 100 people and resulted in the adoption of a Constitution and By-Laws. The first president of the club was Mr. Wm Fenton who served until his death on Feb. 12, 1925. From 1926 through 1942, Mr. A J Haggerty served as President with Drs James Prentice (vice-president) as Secretary/Treasurer/Editor in Chief from 1927 until his death on Nov. 24, 1932; Mrs Gertrude A Haggerty (secretary) from 1933 until her death on Aug. 25, 1935; Clarence Bowers (editor) from 1936 until his retirement on Dec 15th 1941; Ephraim Crouch (treasurer) from 1937 until his death on Oct 3rd 1945; George Sadowsky (director) from 1938 until his retirement on Dec 15th 1941; Harry Lauda (director emeritus) from 1939 until his retirement effective Sept 1st 1946 After World War II there were several changes taking place within our society which had an impact upon gun hammer history in Tullahoma Tennessee First off is that gun control laws were changed during the war due to NRA efforts in order to protect Americans living behind enemy lines while they fought overseas . Tullahoma is a city in the U.S. state of Tennessee, on the Cumberland River. The population was 452 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Union County. The name "Tullahoma" comes from a Shawnee word meaning "bad place." In 1865, General James H. Wilkinson decided to move his army's encampment and supplies upriver to what is now Tullahoma because he felt that he could not control the river's current and would be able to protect his forces there better than if they were dispersed among many small towns downstream on the river. In 1871, Tullahoma became an independent city under the leadership of Mayor John Sowell, who named it in honor of General Andrew Jackson's father-in-law, Major General Hugh Jarratt (1796-1875). The City Council erected a new hall and built three buildings—the first two being used as shops until 1903 when they were replaced by a library and market building which still stands today. In 1907, Tullahoma was designated as one of twelve cities in Alabama to receive funds for economic development through legislation known as Municipal Assistance Act No. 5 (MAA5). This legislation provided financial assistance to cities that agree to certain regulations set forth by the federal government; these included developing their own police departments and establishing fire districts within their boundaries. During World War II, Tullahoma played an important role in supplying munitions destined for Allied troops fighting in Europe. A large factory complex was built here during this time with thousands of workers employed including many women who contributed their skills - such as bake sales - in order to help support their families back home during wartime times without any paychecks or benefits whatsoever! Following World War II, most of these factories closed down but some remain active today providing jobs for local residents throughout Chattanooga area! Today, we continue our history by celebrating both our past and present with events such as parades/festivals/picnics/etc., all while keeping our focus on community involvement - whether it be through volunteerism or simply donating time and services!

In 1539, Portuguese captain Diogo Lopes de Mendonça discovered a new way to fire cannons by using a catapult filled with Bullets that he called “gong”. It was also during this time that handguns became popular because they could be fired with just one hand instead of having to hold two different objects to shoot at targets. Hammerless rifles became more prevalent after 1857 when Abraham Lincoln patented an improvement to his rifle which used a hammer-and-anvil system for firing projectiles from it. The NRA adopted this system as their standard for all firearms beginning in 1892 until 1912 when they switched back to percussion ignition devices (PID). Hammerless shotguns continued into the 20th century, but were soon replaced by pump action shotguns due to their improved firepower and easier reloading process. Tullahoma, Tennessee is a small city located in the state of Tennessee. The city was founded in 1807 by Captain John Sevier and his wife, Sally. The Sevier family lived in Tullahoma until 1840 when they moved to the present day city of Chattanooga. In 1847, the Seviers donated land to make way for what is now Tullahoma State University. The university has been around since 1868 and today it offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields including education, law, business, health care and more. In addition to its importance as a university, Tullahoma also has a rich history that goes back to the Revolutionary War era. One of the many battles fought near Tullahoma was Battle Creek on November 3rd of 1781 between British General Earl Cornwallis and Cherokee forces under Chief Muscogee Wara Kanawha. After two days of fighting, Cornwallis withdrew his forces after severe losses with some 20 Cherokee dead and over 100 captured or missing. This battle helped solidify British control over much of eastern Tennessee at this time and contributed importantly to their victory over American forces at Yorktown in 1783. During World War II, Tullahoma played an important role as an airfield during the war effort. It was here that Allied bombers made their first strikes against Nazi Germany from RAF Bomber Command’s aircraft during Operation Torch on April 8th 1942. Shortly thereafter, ground troops were called into action to help liberate France from Nazi rule through Operation Overlord on July 10th 1944 following which Tullahoma became one of the largest American military installations outside America’s shores with 1 million people working at it alone!
In the late 1800s, Tullahoma was a small farming community located in what is now eastern Tennessee. The town was established by early European settlers in 1814, and rapidly grew due to its location and natural resources. By the early 1900s, Tullahoma had become an important center of industry and commerce in eastern Tennessee. In 1916, the first grocery store in Tullahoma opened its doors, and within two years, the town had a total of six stores. In 1924, Tullahoma became the first city in eastern Tennessee to be incorporated as a municipality. By 1930, Tullahoma had more than 1,500 residents and was one of the largest cities in eastern Tennessee. The city's growth continued into the postwar period; by 1960, it had reached 2,000 residents and was once again one of the largest cities in southeastern Tennessee. During the 1960s and 1970s, however, economic troubles led to declining population levels and social decline in Tullahoma. By 2000-2001, however, efforts by local officials to revive the city's economy have led to significant resurgence - todayTullahomahas a population of over 4200 residents
