The Spring Hill, Tennessee gunfire history museum has a wide variety of firearms displayed and it is open to the public. The Museum was founded in 1984 by Mrs. Currie Bostic and her husband Rick. Rick started the Museum to preserve and exhibit the weapons that were used in the crime scene investigations in Spring Hill during the early 1800s. One of the most important artifacts at the museum is a collection of firearms hat hats made by Confederate soldiers stationed in town during World War II. These hats were made from patriotic materials such as cloth, felt, straw, and leather. The hats were given away to civilians who donated them or they could be sold at auctions held throughout the war years. There are also displays on handguns, shotguns, rifles, ammunition, 18th century clothing, and more. The Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm; Sundays 10am to 2pm. Admission is free for all visitors!

The Spring Hill Pistol Club was organized in 1892. The club is one of the first rifle clubs in Tennessee. It operated a Pistol range from 1903 to 1907. In 1915, the Spring Hill Rifle and Shotgun Club was founded and operated a pistol range from 1915 to 1917. After World War I, the SpringHill Pistol Club disbanded but continues to exist as an organization today.
Spring Hill is a small town in Jackson County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Memphis metropolitan area. The community was founded in 1892 by Abram H. Stephenson and his family as a small farming community named Forneyville after Abram's older brother Forney. They renamed it Spring Hill because of the abundance of springs in the area. The first post office was established in 1893 and remained operational until 1925. In 1902, Jeptha Ladd became proprietor of a sawmill on the South Fork White River which soon supplied the town with lumber for its buildings and other purposes. He also developed an agricultural estate that produced hay, oats, potatoes, peas and beans, fruits and vegetables, chickens and eggs, and bread from field corn (a type of maize). In 1906 he donated land to build a school which served local children until 1949 when it burned down due to lightning damage. In 1909–10 Henderson Hunt opened what would become one of Tennessee's first convenience stores called "The Hunts". This store is still open today as an independently operated business known as "Henderson's". Hunt also ran gambling halls located throughout Spring Hill during this time period including one that occupied what is now the Sheridan-Powell School building on Main Street. SpringHill went through some difficult times during World War II but persevered under hard economic circumstances; even contributing clothing to soldiers stationed overseas while they were fighting! One resident who contributed over $1 million towards war relief efforts was Mrs Isabelle Bemis-Meadowcroft who resided on Summit Avenue just south of 5th Street; her home accommodated more than 100 volunteers working within several dozen hours both before and after Pearl Harbor! After the war ended she continued to support various organizations such as Mothers' Auxiliary for Veterans (MAV), Cooks for Victory (C4V), Southern Appalachian Red Cross Disaster Relief Committee (SARC), Children's Bureau Relief Fund (CBRF) among others; many properties she donated still remain vacant or used for residential purposes today! Spring Hill is a small town located in Williamson County, Tennessee. The population was 1,883 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Knoxville metropolitan area. The first settlement in what is now Spring Hill was made by James Robertson in 1796. He and his family established a trading post on the banks of Clear Fork River. A log cabin was built nearby on land that later became known as Spring Hill. In 1809, James Robertson's widow, Sarah, married John Bowen and their family moved to SpringHill from Henderson County, Kentucky which they had left behind after James' death. They built a new home on what is now Main Street and named it Bowen-Robertson House after their father and namesake. In 1811, Alexander McNair bought some land from Warren Shelby for $150 dollars which he donated to the Methodist Episcopal Church in memory of his father-in-law (Warren Shelby had died two years earlier). McNair used the money to build a house on present day Third Street which he called the “Mansion” because it cost him more than $1,000 to erect it alone! The church used this house until 1915 when it burned down due to an accident while being used as a barn; however, the damage caused by fire allowed for reconstruction within only 12 months! In 1814 John Gentry opened up a store at what is now State Highway 89 south of town. Gentry sold goods including whiskey and groceries from his store until about 1830 when he closed shop due to competition from White Sulphur Springs merchants who began selling goods exclusively through canalside barrels rather than through open windows like Gentry had done before! One such businessman who operated out of SpringHill during this time period was William Hogg (1797-1868), also known as Wm Hogg’s Store & Distillery . His store opened along with others near wherepresent day State Highway 89 meets Third Street in 1830 and continued operation until about 1840 when he closed shop again due to competition from White Sulphur Springs merchants! This particular business enterprise is documented by local historian David L Coxe in his book “History of Williamson County TN” Spring Hill experienced significant growth following its incorporation into Knoxville Township effective February 5th, 1907 pursuant to an act approved by the Tennessee General Assembly on November 3rd of that year titled “An Act To Regulate Commerce And Property In Knoxville Township” On October 20th 1903 Sheriff J B Roberts conducted an auction at Volunteer Armory #2containing property described as Lots Nos 4 & 5 On Auctioneer's Block were three pieces Of Hardwood Flooring For Your Home Which Sold For $100 each Plus 2 Slices Of Pie crust ThatSold For $8 Each Plus One Bottle Of Brandy Which SOLD FOR $24 Pmt.)This marked The First Time Hardwood Floors Were Sold At An Auction InTennessee !!
