After Mrs. Daisy's death, her husband continued running the business until it closed its doors for good in 1925 due largely to World War I-related shortages of goods within Tennessee specifically related to munitions production (this is also when local blacksmithing started becoming popular among Memphians)). However, even though the store closed down permanently*, it didn't stop optical enthusiasts from using it as an occasional spot source for supplies during those tough times! For example, one customer who visited during this time was Drury Welles who purchased some eyeglasses* from Mr. Withers before returning home later that day*. Since then*, many people have frequented Mr.'s store throughout Soddy Daisy for all sorts of needs including sunglasses *(as well as other optics)*. Even now (*over fifty years later*) people still visit Mr.'S shop every week or so for new products and services*!!

They named their village after a nearby stream, Soddy Doo Creek. Over time, other families also arrived in search of new land and started settlements similar to Sandy Springs. By 1924, there were over 100 residents living in Soddy Daisy. During World War II, many local citizens contributed their skills and services to help with military efforts overseas. Many homes were dedicated as barracks or used as storage facilities for weapons and supplies. After the war ended, many residents decided that they would like to keep their village intact and continue enjoying its culture and activities once again. In 1954, the Village Board resolved that Soddy Daisy would remain an independent municipality separate from Knox County until 1975 when it merged into Knox County proper under the jurisdiction of its current government officials。 Since its inception as an autonomous municipality within Knox County, Sodderdyda has experienced significant growth both commercially and culturally. Today, it is one of Appalachia's most vibrant communities with a rich history dating back more than 120 years! There are now over 200 active businesses operating inSodderdyda – including several large shopping mall-style complexes – making it one of haplaustrian America's largest entrepreneurial communities!
