Red Bank is a small town in Robertson County, Tennessee. The population was 1,889 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Nashville–Davidson, TN Metropolitan Statistical Area. Red Bank is located on the Cumberland River, about 20 miles (32 km) south of Nashville and 30 miles (48 km) north of Memphis. The first residents in what is now Red Bank were white traders who came to trading posts along the river during the late 18th century. By 1810, there were several settlements around Red Bank including Hickory Point, which became an important shipping point on the river for goods brought downriver by steamboats. In 1812, General Andrew Jackson's Corps of Volunteers march through Robertson County while campaigning against Native Americans near present-day Chattanooga; when they reached Red Banks they found it abandoned by its original settlers because of fear that another attack would occur. A group of Creek Indians led by Chief Muscogee visited Red Banks in 1815 and left behind their horses and equipment in order to trade with white men before continuing their war against European settlers nearby. In 1850, after much discussion and debate among local citizens over whether or not to build a railroad through Robertson County to connect Nashville with other parts of Tennessee, voters approved a $4 million bond issue for that purpose as part of a general election campaign promise made by then-Governor Donelson. The construction began soon afterwards and completed within three years—a significant accomplishment at that time given that railways had only recently come into existence in many parts of America. At its peak traffic levels in 1915, the line ran from Lebanon Junction eastward to Greeneville and westward to Chattanooga; it has since been truncated slightly northward to current day Johnson City Blvd./Old Mill Rd., just outside downtown Redbank proper but still serving as one major route into/out of Nashville today Red Bank's rich history includes notable contributions from many individuals and organizations who have played an influential role therein: In 1865 John Sclater opened his new store at 309 N Main Street which later became known as Sclater & Sons Department Store until 1943 when it closed due to World War II bombing raids. In 1922 Drs JW Andrews & son James W Andrews donated land adjacent to White Sulphur Springs Resort on which we built our Clinic No1 giving us our name today – Drs Andrews & Son Physicians’ Health Care Center! In 1951 First Baptist Church was organized here! We are still going strong today!

Red Bank is a small town in Lamar County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 2,052 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chattanooga metropolitan area. Red Bank was platted in 1819. The town was named after Red Banks Creek which flows through it. A post office was established in 1825, and remained open until it closed in 1912. The community first grew around the Agricultural and Mechanical Company store which operated from 1827 to 1862. In 1861, the company's assets were seized by the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War and its assets were divided among its surviving trustees; Red Bank received only a fraction of what it should have received because it was not within Confederate lines. The original settler on White Street was John Tubbs who arrived in 1800 from England as a slave trader with his brother-in-law James Hogg (1768-1843). He soon started farming and built a log cabin on what is now High Street near where he lived until his death in 1828. His wife Nancy also farmed there until her death in 1840 when she moved to Monterey Township where she died age 96 years old on October 9th of that year having been born December 21st, 1792 at Shelbyville Plantation near modern day Morehead City, Alabama . Her husband John Tubbs continued to farm here for many years after her death before moving into nearby Springdale Township where he died almost seventy years later on January 5th of 1951 at age 86 years old having been born February 3rd, 1865 at Red Bank creek . There are three generations of Tubbs living still today: one daughter lives with her son Donald and their granddaughter Linda Goble; another daughter resides with her niece Peg Thompson located just outside Damascus township limits about two miles northeast of downtown Chattanooga; their father John’s youngest grandson Timothy also resides hereabouts although he has since passed away aged ninety nine months.)
