Oak Ridge is a small town in Knox County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,471 at the 2000 census. Oak Ridge was first settled in 1839 by farmers from Kentucky and Virginia who moved to what is now the town after experiencing a severe drought. The name of the community comes from an old English word meaning "oak-tree" because of its many oaks that lined the banks of the River Knob. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTCha) was founded in 1907 as one of four universities within Tennessee state university boundaries. Oak Ridge Boys High School (ORNHL) opened in 1927 and became one of America's leading high schools for boys, winning national championships in both football and soccer during the 1960s and 1970s. UTCha created its own agricultural school, Agricultural Experiment Station No. 9 (AESN-9), which grew into one of the most important research institutions on campus with programs such as Crop Science, Forest Resources Management, Genetics & Genomics, Water Resources Management & Environmental Restoration, Soil Science & Conservation, Statistics & Political Science before closing in 2003 amid budgetary cuts by Governor Phil Bredesen. Oak Ridge also operated two small hospitals until they were closed due to lack of funding three years ago: One for mental health services and another for women's health services had been contracted through Medicaid but did not receive necessary federal funding to keep them open so they closed as well; both wound up being merged into a larger hospital that will be located adjacent to UTCha's main campus soon. In 2014 Oak Ridge announced it would develop its first ever electric vehicle charging station called Charging Station Point C – located on S White Street just east of I-24 exit 417 near downtown – making it possible for drivers arriving or departing from I-24 Exit 417/White Street to recharge their electric vehicles without having to stop at any gas stations or other recharging facilities available on those streetscape areas near downtown Knoxville!

In recent years though things have started to change slightly with companies starting to make printingerror messages onto their shirts instead of just using plain text like before which makes it harder for someone trying to reprint an old shirt without knowing how it works (and sometimes resulting in refunds).
