One such store was the Fenton Knife Company which operated from 1907-1926. In 1911, John Witherspoon started producing knifes at his forge located on State Street in downtown Nashville. In 1975, Knives Unlimited opened its doors in downtown Nashville as one of the first online knife retailers in America.
