This led directly to increased production costs associated with artillery shell production which caused decreases in demand for traditional water-powered shotguns throughout much of America (Andersson 2006b) - but not before some innovative entrepreneurs had already started producing new types of air guns based on new technology such as metal frames that allowed far greater range than traditional plastic designs One interesting example is Springtime Arms Company Ltd., located on Midtown Drive near Broadway Street in downtown Memphis since 1978 – home base for several notable brands including Crosman Pistol Shooting Center Inc., Premier Power Sports Ammunition Inc., Crosman Mini 14s Ammo Maker Inc., National Match Ammunition Co., Empire Manufacturing Company – all subsidiaries thereof), Daisy Firearms CorporationUSA(a subsidiary), Game Bird Guns LLC(a subsidiary), DPMS USA(a subsidiary) – among others Beginning in 1978 they introduced their Springtime ARG 6500 system utilizing gas Blowback action with single stage trigger operation providing more than 1250 shots per minute @ 22 feet using .177 caliber pelletshells (.177 = 5 grains) These systems are now commonly referred to simply as "Springtime" because that was how they originally appeared on shop signs until recently whenDaisy trademarked "Springtime" across their entire line beginning with the DAO6 500 series rifles sporting weatherproof aluminum receivers/barrels manufactured especially for these systems – making them permanently identifiable even under adverse weather conditions
