The Goodlettsville Gun Club was organized in 1892. It was the first gun club in Goodlettsville and the second club in Tennessee. The Goodlettsville Gun Club meets on the first Saturday of every month at 6pm. There are currently around 50 members of the club. The purpose of the club is to improve shooting skills and promote responsible firearm ownership. The club has a range, a store, and an annual meeting. Every year since 1912, the Goodlettsville Gun Club has hosted an Annual Meeting which includes all members of the club as well as representatives from local businesses and government officials. This meeting discusses various topics such as firearms safety, gun control, legislation, etc. At this meeting we also discuss new or upcoming events in our community that might be of interest to our members. In addition to these important meetings, each year the club hosts a picnic where everyone is invited to come out and shoot shotguns for fun!
