The Expand on Scope Mount company was founded by a group of friends in Gallatin, Tennessee in 1984. The company has been manufacturing expandable mounts for rifles and shotguns since that time. Gallatin is a city in Middle Tennessee, United States. The population was 24,906 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Gallatin County and the largest city in the Knoxville metropolitan area. The current mayor is Donnie Harrison. The first people to live in what is now Gallatin were Native Americans. They were part of the Cherokee Nation and built their own village on top of a hill near modern day downtown. By 1800, some white men had started moving into this area as well and by 1822, there were over 20 settlers living in what is now Gallatin. One of the early settlers was Jameson Allen who arrived in 1825 and founded the first store in present day downtown. In 1865, General Andrew Johnson ordered all Native American villages be burned down which destroyed most of them but spared Gallatin Village because it was located on Ulysses S Grant's route from Chattanooga to Nashville. In 1868, John Pemberton purchased land north of downtown from Scottish settler Archibald Maclay for $5 per acre which became one of the most important deals made during that time period because it allowed for expansion upriver into what is today eastern Knoxville Township (now Whitehaven). This also resulted in Grady College being founded nearby on Pemberton's property – one of America's first colleges degree-granting institutions east of the Mississippi River! In 1880, local doctor J Fenton established an animal health dispensary here which became one of America's leading operations until it closed its doors in 1933 due to World War II shortages! During World War II too, many citizens worked at munitions plants located around town like Nissan Motors Company and Seaboard Air Lines (today FedEx) – making it possible for locals to prosper even after war production stopped! A major milestone occurred when Dr J Fenton married Anna Elizabeth Hoggatt who later died giving birth to their only child Anna Margaret Hoggatt who would become oneAmerica’s leading pediatrician; working at Children’s Hospital Colorado before becoming head medical officer/director affiliate with Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she currently serves as Professor Emeritus! After yearslong negotiations between both families & City Council members, Donnie Harrison finally won election as Mayoralty on November 3rd 2006 following 12 rounds OF voting! After more than 25 years serving his community he hands off management responsibilities effective January 1st 2009

Gallatin, Tennessee is a small town located in Knox County, Tennessee that was once the site of one of the most famous slave auctions ever held. The Gallatin Slave Auction took place on July 21st, 1836 and featured the sale of over 100 slaves to eight different buyers. It was an event that has been chronicled by many people over the years and is now considered a historical landmark. The area that today stands at the heart of Gallatin was first settled by European settlers in the early 1800s. Many of these pioneers were Presbyterians who came to this part of TN looking for land to farm. By 1821, there were only a handful of homes here and most people lived near Knoxville or Nashville. The first slaves in this area were purchased from nearby plantation owners in 1824. At that time, slavery was still legal in Tennessee but it had become unpopular with many residents due to its cruelty and Jim Crow laws. So when two brothers named John and James Harper decided to sell their own black slave named Susie for $600 cash, they set off a local controversy. At first, some people thought this was simply an honest deal as Susie had been bought well before any abolitionist efforts happened in TN. But eventually word spread about this auction and angry mobs started gathering around the Harper home asking questions about what kind of society they wanted their children born into! This situation quickly escalated into chaos as law enforcement couldn’t keep up with both the number of protesters and potential buyers who wanted to take advantage of this unusual opportunity. Ultimately, John Harper managed to get his slave back after paying her $1,500 cash – something that has never been done before or since! In fact, it’s not even possible anymore as she has passed away since then! The Harper family name still remains synonymous with Gallatin because so many descendants live here today – something that makes it such an interesting story all together!
Gallatin was founded in 1796 by General Richard Henderson and his wife, Deborah. The community of Gallatin grew rapidly after the opening of the Cumberland Gap in 1812, and by 1830, it had a population of over 100 people. In 1846, Gallatin became an incorporated municipality. The town experienced significant growth during the 19th century as a result of its location on the Cumberland River between Nashville and Knoxville. By 1910, Gallatin had a population of 753 people and was home to several businesses including Coca-Cola Bottling Plant No. 1 and two newspapers, The Tennessean and The Herald-Dispatch. However, during World War II, Gallatin's economy slumped due to the war effort; its population decreased from 1943 to 1945 only becauseOf the military construction projects conducted in neighboring counties ( such as Fort Donelson), only one building - a recreation center - remains standing today.
