The Confederate rifle range was used by soldiers to shoot at Rebel snipers on the mountain ridge above town. In 1892, the gunsmiths of East Ridge started working on a new type of Rifle called the "Rifle." This Rifle could be loaded with either lead or powder magazines and fired using a single round magazine which Extended from the buttstock into the chamber below. This helped make rifles much more accurate than earlier designs and also allowed people to carry more rounds with them when they traveled. In 1916, Germany began World War I and soon after began producing large numbers of Assault Rifles called "Hetzer" rifles. These Assault Rifles were much different from any other type of Rifle that had been produced before, because they were designed specifically for warfare against other countries' military forces. To make these rifles even more successful in battle, Germany developed special Cocking Systems that made it possible for these Assault Rifles to fire rapid bursts of shots without having to reload often. An important part of this battle-tested weapon system was the use of interchangeable stocks which allowed commanders to place different men with different weapons on various battlefield positions depending upon what situation presented itself at any given time.

East Ridge is a small town in Hardin County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,848 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Knoxville Metropolitan Statistical Area. East Ridge was platted in 1872 by Elisha Ramsdell and his brother-in-law, J.C. Farnsworth. The community name was chosen to honor General John A. In 1902 East Ridge had a post office called "Beaverdam" which served a small village located nearby (now Beaverdam). mail service from Beaverdam stopped after only 2 months due to budget cuts by US Postmaster General Amos Tilton Moorehead - one of the infamous "Tilton Fates" during the early 20th century when postal delivery services were often politicized based on social class affiliation rather than need or convenience! In 1911 Gussie Cobb founded Herrington's grocery store which quickly became one of the most popular stores in East Ridge with customers coming from all over Hardin County! Gussie Cobb remained proprietor until her death in 1951 after giving her store away to her son Julius Herrington Jr., also known as Gus Cobb III!

After the war ended, many people decided to stay in east Tennessee and start new lives. Many families moved into what is now known as "The Hill Country." This region has rolling hills and wide valleys with plenty of trees and streams available for farming or water supply purposes. Over time, this region became known as "East Ridge." Bridges over small creeks have helped connect these areas since early times; one example is Jack Daniels Bridge which spans Canary Creek between Cumberland County and Robertson County today . In recent years, work has begun on building a new bridge across Canary Creek connectingeast Shelby County with east Livingston County . This project will improve transportation infrastructure within these counties as well as create new business opportunities for both locations
