The name came from collie, a black-and-tan dog that originated in Scotland. The town began to grow rapidly after it became part of the Memphis–area school district in 1922. In 1949, the town incorporated and started to develop its own economy with its own municipal government and local businesses. In 1957 the community voted to become an independent city and has since grown vigorously as a result of this decision. Today, Collierville is one of the most thriving communities in Hardin County and offers residents plenty of opportunities for personal growth and economic success both within their hometowns as well as throughout Memphis’s expansive region – including Collierville itself!

When World War I started in 1914, many countries began to produce their own weapons in order to meet their needs. Hungary produced over 100 000 rifles during World War I alone! Of these weapons, approximately 60% were adopted into military use by other nations after their introduction; this is also known as "arms export." Firearms played a critical role in numerous conflicts during World War I including trench warfare and aircraft bombing raids. A total of 231 million rounds were fired in WWI (of which 61 million rounds were shot from pistols). More than half of all artillery shells fired during WWI came from handguns! There has never been a more important time for firearm owners than today! With so many events happening every day that can potentially lead to injury or death due to gunfire, it is essential that everyone understands how to safely store their firearms and use them responsibly!

Collierville is a small town in Williamson County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 1,402 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chattanooga metropolitan area. The Town of Collierville was organized on December 2, 1793 by two men from Lebanon County - Samuel Wilson and James Huston - as an avoidance of duplication between the two towns. The first post office was established in 1807 in what is now the town center. In 1836, Collierville became part of Knoxville when that city was split into three parts along with Lebanon County proper. In 1892, Collierville's first school house burned down and reconstruction began within a day with help from local farmers who donated materials and labor. A second schoolhouse opened in 1893 and continued to serve until it too burned down in 1901-02; again reconstruction began quickly this time with the help of citizens including one hundred percent female teachers! The colliery closed following World War II but reopened again after that war as a shopping mall called "The Mall." It closed again in 2002 but reopened as a bed and breakfast inn/motel called "Aloft" after being vacated by its predecessor due to poor management skills by then owner Dave Cullum which resulted in numerous lawsuits against him throughout his tenure (including one from current owner John Schneider). After much good will by Aloft employees over several years' occupancy, operations were reverted back to their original name: "Aloft Collierville". As recently as 2000-2001 there still existed 4 churches located just outside of town limits serving rural residents without electricity or running water; however all had since been replaced either shuttered or replaced with modern facilities thanks to fundraisers like Donny Faust who chaired efforts for each church’s replacement fund campaign starting around 1990. Today only 3 churches remain standing while 2 others have been demolished completely making up for lost opportunity back then! In recent times there has also been an increase focus on tourism especially considering nearby Chattanooga’s resurgence both economically and culturally during these same years making it an ideal location for boutique hotels like Renaissance Vanderbilt which opened earlier this year right next door to Aloft & more recently Gatlinburg’s newly renovated Old downtown district becoming even more popular due largely to its convenient proximity to Interstate 20 & I-65 combined with its rich history dating back centuries & easy access via public transportation
The first settlers in Collierville were Alexander McGillivray and his family, who arrived in 1800. The town was named after Colonel JamesCollier, a Scottish-born Revolutionary War general. In 1819, the colliery district of Collierville was organized and became one of the thirty-six counties of Tennessee. The railroad reached Collierville in 1854 and made it a major center for trade. It also served as the location for the first school in the area. The colliery district closed in 1978, but many of the old buildings remain extant today.
