Another earlysafe building was erected on Main Street near where modern day Union Station stands in 1895 by Hargrave Bros., who also constructed what is now known as Beechwood Hall; this building consisted of two stories with five bays on each floor, six feet wide overall, twelve feet deep inside its walls, ten feet high outside its walls, and had iron gates all around its circumference bolted to posts upon entering/ exiting from it (it could be entered/ exited from via ground floor windows only). In 1951 Mrs. Jockie Byrd purchased this building from Hargrave Bros., who had sold it to her father-in-law Harry Byrd Sr.. Mrs. Byrd kept it until 1972 when it passed into private ownership again and has been housed there ever since (it currently resides at 511 Elm Street NW in downtown Clarksville) One other early structure dating back to 1892 is also still extant; thisbuilding was located at 406 Elm St.; it consisted of two stories connected by corridors leading off thereof (this building served as an infirmary during World War I). It featured medical equipment including an operating room and more than twenty beds!
