However, by 1870 Brentwood had started to rebound somewhat due to increased trade between Tennessee and Kentucky coming through Cumberland Gap Bridge which linked both states together then becoming one giant market for goods from all over Great Britain including weapons made here at home such as cannons and rifles being exported back into Europe as well as products produced domestically like saddles, harnesses etc., which helped drive up prices on local produce while creating new opportunities for farmers around town who now could afford access to markets outside their homes if they so desired (i.e., farming families moving out of small towns into larger cities). Despite this resurgence however there were still some points throughout during these years where things were difficult due largely to lack of political leadership/infrastructure within our community or state government itself especially during tough times when it came to economic development/opportunities that didn't always benefit everyone living within our borders (i.e., Jim Crow Laws continuing until Voting Rights Act passed #Equal rights movement happening right before my birth).
