Today, Parkerizing Rifles are still being produced worldwide with variations based on operating conditions including cold hammer forging (CHR), heat treatment (HT), laminating (LF), phosphate coating (PPC), hard coatings (HC) etc. These weapons are often referred to as ‘chrome plated’ because of their shiny finish).
