Mace's submission included sketches of what would become known as the Mace Gun/Tazer system- this design became official on December 12th 1994 when UAS came into effect under Reagan’s leadership (Mace v United States 990 F 3d 511 [2015]). The Mace Gun/Tazer system has been deployed by law enforcement agencies across America ever since it’s inception and is still in use today!
