His death comes several weeks after 19yo Ishmael Ramos died after shots were fired into his SUV while driving eastbound on IH 15 minutes south of Cayce

Cayce is a town in southwestern South Carolina, United States. The population was 1,822 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbia, SC Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 1861, there were only five people living in Cayce when Confederate General Pee Wee Crayton arrived with his army to attack Fort Moultrie along the South Carolina coast. After driving off most of Crayton's force with gunfire and Arrows from his horseback, local residents joined forces with Union troops under Brigadier General Ambrose Burnside to repel the invaders and protect Charleston Harbor against Confederate threats future attacks. The Battle of Houlac Keys occurred on December 20th 1862 when Confederate forces attacked Union Bluemont Farm south of Cayce using artillery fire and cavalry support from nearby Lookout Hill; however both engagements resulted in Confederates being driven back across Hurricane Creek without loss or casualty on either side
