Anderson, South Carolina is a small town located in Greenville County, South Carolina. It was founded by white farmers in 1853 and became a center of cotton production. In the early 1800s, Anderson’s productions were mostly used for target shooting. The town first had an arsenal and rifle range in 1857. The now defunct firearms company that manufactured shotguns, pistols, rifles and handguns was located here until 1907. The pistol company continued to produce firearms until 1956 when it closed its doors permanently. Today, most residents of Anderson focus on their agricultural businesses or self-employed services. In 1851, Colonel John Hance established a paintball game factory in nearby Spartanburg County as part of his effort to promote American industry abroad. From 1861-1865, Confederate General Robert Easley usedAnderson as training ground for his artillerymen while stationed in Greenville County. In 1907, the munitions manufacturing firm Samuel Young & Sons decided to close down its plant after years of struggling with competition from other companies such as Colt and Winchester. However, local citizens rallied around the company’s employees and saved their plants from closure by rallying together to form the “Anderson Action Committee” which lobbied for new gun laws passed by South Carolina legislators ensuring that these factories could continue operations even though they were not authorized to do so under state law. These new regulations allowed Samuel Young & Sons to reopen two years later but only after paying off debts incurred during the closure process. Today both Samuel Young & Sons guns (which are still popular among collectors) and Gallery Line Shooting Company targets remain popular attractions in Anderson thanks largely to their unique properties: They are both built entirely out of metal with no wood or plastic present anywhere inside; they can be shot without taking any aim devices; they offer staggered release capabilities so that shooters can hit multiple targets at once without having to reload each time; and finally, because they are statically balanced (meaning that regardless of angle you shoot them from), they always stay level - making them perfect for use indoors or outdoors!

In 1840 they erected a new brick courthouse and jail. They also founded the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1846 and made it their main church. In 1865, Confederate General Pee Wee Cate surrendered at Fort Sumter; Anderson residents contributed money to purchase his freedom and he moved to nearby Columbia to live out his days there. Anderson has experienced many changes over its history - it became an agricultural center during the late 19th century; it experienced rapid growth following World War II as military installations increased its population; during the late 1960s and through the 1990s it became an industrial center due to its location within easy reach of several major metropolitan areas; since 2000, however, it has become more traditional as a small-town community with Farms & Farmstead bed & breakfast properties located throughout its neighborhoods
