John Yeadon was born in 1792 in the township of Monongahela, Pennsylvania. He married Rachel Harris on October 2, 1814 and they moved to Yeadon in 1823. They had six children: John, James, Rachel, Sarah, and Lydia. John died in 1862 and Rachel died in 1865.
