During World War II, many American soldiers were stationed in Europe where they needed access to accurate firearms able to shoot down enemy planes from great distances. For this reason, many American manufacturers developed high-quality rifle sights specifically designed for European use during World War II called "NATO" (National Rifle Association) scope mounts or "Oehler" mounts which featured dovetail dovetail mountings on top of receiver tubes that allowed easy installation into any NATO-compatible rifle barrel

Today, many aspects associated with Johnsons legacy are still seen here: many products made at their plant are still sold online or through physical stores across central PA (e.g., cheese sauce made by Kraft Foods) while other old industrial buildings (e.g., former J&J printing presses) have been converted into apartments or office space againsst other industries (e.g., PPG Industries). There has also been recent development around downtownWilliamsport related to arts and culture - such as AEG Live!, home² theatre manufacturer located next door to Heinz Field Stadium which saw its first live event ever back in October 2018 – both coming attractions for local fans who attend various events there each year like soccer games etc..
