In the early 1800s, Wilkes Barre was a small community with only a handful of residents. The town's only industry was agriculture, and hunting and fishing were its primary sources of income. However, handguns were not unknown in this community. A few years prior to the American Revolution, citizens in Wilkes Barre petitioned for legal permission to carry handguns for self-defense. This request was granted and handgun ownership became an integral part of society in this small town. Gun magazines first began appearing on shelves in Wilkes Barre in 1853. At that time, there were no commercial publishers of magazine publications and printing presses were rare even within the existing colonies. Magazine publishers had to rely on subscribers to provide the necessary cover space for their publications. As subscription rates increased, so too did the costs associated with producing these magazines. To make matters worse, many printers closed their doors during the Panic of 1857 which caused a decrease in printing capacity statewide. As a result of these difficult times, Gun Magazines quickly became one of Wilkes Barre's most popular products due to their high quality and low cost per issue. In fact, at its peak production rate between 1853-1875, Gun Magazines contributed more than $10 per month (in today's dollars) to local economy! Accordingly, it is no surprise that Gun Magazines continue to be an important part of our local history as they have been essential in helping keep our community safe since before Confederation!

From 1951-1983 both these companies were known as Browning Arms Corporation. After Browning was bought by Glock AG in 1983, their mags manufacturing operations were moved to Mexico City where Glock continues to produce firearms today.
Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania is a city in western Pennsylvania and the county seat of Cambria County. The population was 26,564 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Susquehanna River and is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Wilkes Barre was founded in 1777 by Major General John Forbes as a military post for American Revolutionary War commanders. The town's name comes from William Penn, who granted it to the British forces during his negotiations for the Treaty of Paris in 1783. In 1815, Wilkes Barre became a stop on stagecoaches transporting goods between Pittsburgh and Baltimore. In 1835, it became part of Allegheny County when that state was formed from parts of West Virginia and Maryland. After becoming an independent city in 1868, Wilkes Barre annexed Cambria Township from Greensburg Township. The Susquehanna River forms much of the southern border of Wilkes Barre; its most notable tributary is the Monongahela River which separates it from Greensburg to its north-central portion. As such, water shortages are common during summertime when floods peak; this has led to efforts to install rain gardens and other drought-friendly measures in recent years. Additionally, Wilkesbarre has placed high emphasis on sustainability - particularly through green infrastructure initiatives such as public transportation options based around bicycle commuting or carpooling - while also investing heavily in education and innovation within its communityconscious culture

In 1941, Nazi Germany began using large numbers of Volkssturm (a type of submachinegun) rifles which required an extended Magazine Capacity because each rifle had ten rounds capacity rather than five rounds like most other firearms at that time It was not until after World War II that designers came up with designs for new typesof firearm magazine systems – but it wasn’t until 1953 that Glock began producing its own brand-new typeof magazine called Glocks G10 which holds 10 rounds internally
Some people believe that the first gun magazines were created by Captain John Smith in 1676. He is credited with the development of the early modern magazine system, which consisted of a drum that could hold a number of rounds.
Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania is a city in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 12,811 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Lackawanna County. Wilkes Barre was founded in 1795 as a small town on the north bank of the Susquehanna River by German immigrants who named it after their hometown of Wilkinsburg, Virginia. The name "Wilkes" means "prominence" or "grandeur." In 1847, part of what is now Lackawanna County was included in the new state of West Virginia and became known as McDowell County. In 1861, when West Virginia seceded from the United States and formed its own country called Confederate America, parts of McDowell County were also annexed to Unionism-in this case into Pennsylvania. In 1868, when Pennsylvania ended Reconstruction and all white men were given an equal right to vote (except those who had been born slaves), Wilkes Barre voted to become a black township because African Americans were not then allowed to be citizens of either state. By 1920, however, all black residents had been discarded from the city limits and Wilkes Barre reverted back to its white status as a village
