It served as a place where Citizens could buy and keep firearms for themselves or their families. In 1836, the Philadelphia Gunsmiths Company merged with the Fetterman Armory. The Philadelphia Gunsmiths Company was founded by Ebenezer Fenton and Samuel Beall in 1836. The Philadelphia Gunsmiths Company operated as a separate business until 1868 when it merged with the John Brown & Co., Ltd., also known as John Brown’s Sons Paper Works (JB&P). JB&P operated as a separate business until 1893 when it became part of Colt Firearms Manufacturing Incorporated (CFM). CFM continued to operate as a separate business until 1907 when it merged into Winchester Repeating Arms Corporation (Winchester). In 1907, Winchester absorbed all of Wacoal’s operations within its company including the manufacture of gun magazines under that name! Today, Winchester manufactures both revolvers and shotguns under their former guns magazine name! Though gun magazines have come and gone throughout American history, they continue to play an important role in our society today! They provide people with a way to store their firearms safely so that they can be used whenever needed without worry of them being stolen or lost forever!

The city's founding began with small businesses clustered around mills owned by individuals or families who used their skills to produce goods for local markets or shipped them overseas. These businesses gradually grew into large Corporations as transportation became more affordable and reliable through railways such as the Erie Canal and anthracite coal mines opened up throughout western PA during the late 19th century. Steel production also increased due to new found deposits in Colorado (and other states) during this time period which led to an expansion in business opportunities for steel companies such as General Electric and Bethlehem Steel Company located in downtownWest Chester from working-class neighborhoods near canal plants to Morehouse Avenue today known as Financial District). In 1892, Hungarian inventor and gunsmiths Puskás, Sándor and Lussek designed a new magazine-fed handgun. The new design was based on the principle of gas-operated guns, which had been in use since the mid-18th century. The magazine fed weapon used a system of drums that held rounds in each drum. A rotating bolt advancing the rounds from one drum to another caused them to be discharged into the battlefield. This type of gun became known as a “ revolving rifle” or simply a “rifle” because its mechanism resembled that of an old crossbow. The first rifles using this type of magazine were built by Suba and János Aranyi in 1894. They called their product the "Barca" (Catalogue No./No2/94). It was exported to several countries, including Russia and China. However, it never caught on with these countries because they found it too difficult to reload properly without breaking down the firearm. In 1898, Hungarian firearms manufacturer Ferencz patented his own system for feeding magazines into pistols – this system is still in use today with pistol magazines. The first handguns using Ferencz's magazine feed system were built by Puskás et al. in 1901–1902 under the designation "Ferenczi Model I." These weapons were very successful during World War I; however, they lacked firepower compared to contemporary revolver designs and did not enter service until after World War I ended. During World War II some prototypes were created that used belt-fed ammunition instead ofMagazine-fed ammunition like most rifles fielded during that time period did However development stopped around 1945 when belts became available only for shotguns

West Chester was founded in 1798 by Captain John West and his wife, Rebecca. It became a borough in 1812. The first post office was established in 1814. The community grew rapidly due to the opening of the Erie Canal in 1825 and its consequent increase in trade. In 1830, the borough built its own courthouse and jail. In 1865, West Chester merged with neighboring Easton to form a new municipality known as Philadelphia-Easton-West Chester.
