As a result, many manufacturers began developing new ways for shooters to aim their firearms - one such innovation was called "dot-and-circle" sights which relied upon seeing both circles simultaneously while looking through your scope in order to achieve accurate shooting results. Once again, red dot sights took center stage during postwar America as millions of people started picking up firearms again after years of prohibition and wartime rationing.
