State College, Pennsylvania (commonly referred to as State College) is a public university in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States. On July 1st 1817 James Wilson finalized plans for what would become today's Penn State by submitting them to his friend William Dudley who had already donated land near Chambersburg for use as an agricultural college. The first classes were held on October 15th 1817 with 36 students attending from Lancaster County . It wasn't until 1840 that brick buildings were erected on campus which included two mainframes: one used for instruction and another used for storage. It wasn't until 1865 that the first black student graduated from Pennstate with his degree in agriculture! In 1870s there was major construction done on campus including new dormitories (now called Tower Halls), Grounds Plantation House which still stands today( older parts have been demolished), Athletic Fieldhouse(now known as Beaver Stadium), Wolcott Gymnasium(now known as Milton Glickman Arena), then Main Campus Buildings including Old Main where Classes Incorporated into University Of Pittsburgh System finally became operational on November 1st 1847 making PSU one school with several campuses rather than just one large area like earlier generations did! On February 14th 1916 Governor John F Dickson signed legislation creating Homecoming Week at PA Agricultural College giving alumni & guests alike an opportunity visit their Alma Mater USAA during weekdays starting Saturday August 28th through September 2nd! After years of hard work by faculty & staff members our stunning facility was dedicated on November 15th 1921 amidst much fanfare! Balloon masks were replaced beginning in the early 1900s with more sophisticated devices such as those used by military snipers, which consisted of a metal frame with an elastic band running along its top that fit around the head. The first effective shooting glasses were invented in 1892 by two American surgeons, Drs. Samuel Hodge and Edward Cope. They created a pair of goggles designated “Hodge Glasses” which could protect firearms owners from disk injuries caused by trajectories through small holes in the glass surface. In 1896, Russian scientist Mikhail Lomonosov designed a type of Shooting Glass known as an “Otolithoscope” which was used to study natural phenomena at close range during archaeological excavations. By 1912, it was becoming clear that firearm sights could not accurately compensate for distances between targets so new methods had to be developed for compensating shotters; one method involved sighting directly into target sights while wearing shooting glasses or Otolithoscopes connected directly to riflesights using flexible rods inserted into vials on each gun barrel

On December 12, 1781, during the American Revolution, General George Washington's army crossed the Susquehanna River at Altoona and defeated the British army at Yorktown. As a result of this victory, Pennsylvania became part of the new United States of America.
