Sharon, Pennsylvania is a small town in the United States. The population was 1,812 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The town was founded by George Washington in 1784 as a stop on his journey from Bethlehem to Lancaster. In 1815, Sharon became one of two towns within the new state of Pennsylvania that were not named for George Washington but for John Adams and James K. Polk – both men who had played important roles in American history. In 1920, Sharon became home to the first all-girls high school in Pennsylvania and remains one of its most prominent residents today. The Sheridan School District was established in 1957 and now includes over fifteen schools within its boundaries including five middle schools and three high schools. In addition to its namesake school system, Sharon also has several churches (St Peters Lutheran, Methodist Episcopal, Presbyterian) as well as an ice rink (Sheridan Arena).

Finally in 1876 a Danish inventor named Ole Christensen developed what is now known as the Konica Minolta Diopter microscope which allowed users to see details at extremely long ranges including distant stars and planets!

Sharon, Pennsylvania is a small town in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The first settler in Sharon was Nicholas Latham, who arrived there in 1797. He and his family were among the earliest settlers of what would become Butler County. In 1824, John Stephenson founded a gristmill in Sharon that would become one of the largest mills in central Pennsylvania. The mill continued to operate until 1915 when it went out of business due to factors such as technological advances and World War I disruptions. shaderon post office opened on July 15th 1892 from a building erected by George Hamer and Wm Flanders at 7 Railroad Avenue (now 5th Street). This post office served the community for about two years before being discontinued because of railroad construction within the town limits. According to village history written by Village President Harry Slagel in 1978, "the first schoolhouse which we know of was built about 1800," but this is likely an error as no records survive from that time period documenting any school buildings or teacher staffing levels inside or outside of Sharon proper! On May 6th 1888 while Third Parish Church was still under construction on Union Avenue (now Second Avenue), Reverend Nevin Gault conducted services for students from Third Parish School acrossUnion Avenue into Fourth Parish School which then became known as First Presbyterian Church...In 1893 Third parish church burned; however Reverend Gault preached over the remains until 1898." Thereafter additional churches were built including Seventh Presbyterian Church located on Elm Street south of Highway 221 near Union Elementary School and First Baptist Church located east off US 22 just past Belleview Cemetery - all three denominations eventually merged into One Presbyterian Church with Reverend Gault's services having concluded by 1898!
