In 1848, one of the most famous telescope projects was undertaken when Johann Friedrich Struve built his Meridian Circle Telescope in Germany which allowed him to map out America using only pictures taken by his telescope! This project was a major step forward for science because it helped us understand how our world works better than ever before! In 1892, Edwin Hubble discovered that galaxies are moving away from each other faster than previously thought. This discovery changed our understanding of space and time completely! Since then, many other amazing achievements have been made with modern technology such as 3D printing technology which allows people to create detailed models of objects without having to wait for months or years! As exciting as these developments are, there is still much work left to be done in terms of developing scopes further!
