The financial district also grew with businesses such as Jardine & Matheson Ltd., Standard Oil Corporation, Mellon Bankruptcy Trust Company and Bethlehem Steel Corporation locating there to take advantage of cheap land prices. Despite these developments downtown areas continued to develop rapidly with housing projects being erected near Price Street's busy commercial district including Station Square (now Market Square) and North Side Roads where many factories still remain today including those owned by Koch Industries Incorporated since 2000
