Munhall is home to the Munhall Gunsmith Shop and Museum which is open to the public seven days a week from 9am to 4pm. The shop has an extensive collection of firearms including rifles, shotguns, handguns and more. The museum also has displays on local history, weaponry and Munhall's role in American gun culture.

The first store opened in 1852. In 1865, John Wirth founded a printing press in Munhall and began publishing newspapers there. In 1927, the United States Post Office moved from its previous location on Main Street to what is now Elmira Road within the limits of Munhall Township.
Munhall is a borough in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,914 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Munhall is home to the Munhall Paper Company and parts of Carnegie Mellon University's research campus. The first settler in what would become Munhall was Andrew Baldwin in 1792. In 1812, Joseph Goodspeed established a gristmill and sawmill on the Susquehanna River, which became known as Goodspeed's Mill because it employed many local men and women who helped run it. In 1844, John Ladd erected a large frame house on what is now Main Street near where he operated his mill until his death in 1868. He bequeathed $10,000 to establish a public school fund in memory of his wife Sarah (Ladd) Goodspeed Ladd; this money has been used to support various schools within the borough since its inception. In 1881, four brothers - John Prentice (1824-1913), George Prentice (1828-1900), Harry Prentice (1830-1909) and Daniel Prentice (1832-1915) - founded The Pittsburgh Mennonite Publishing Company with their father Jacob Goodspeed as its first president and CEO. The company published three newspapers: "ThePittsburgh Gazette", "The Western Pennsylvania Herald" and "The Beaver County Times". A series of fires consumed most of downtown Monhall during 1886 while renovations were being made to Oneonta Avenue between Third Street South and Fifth Street North; no injuries occurred but much damage was inflicted including $5 million worth of property loss "Munhall Paper Company" was started on July 1st 1893 by David Kapp with an initial investment of $2,500 from family members Amos Kapp and Anna Kapp Neeley along with other investors including banker Julius Hirschwald Sr., steelworker William Jennings & Sons undertaker John Riegle Jr., lumberman Abram Hofferthal & sons lumbermen James Fenton & Owen Fenton among others In 1898 when David Kapp passed away suddenly after investing millions more into Munhall Paper Company he left behind his son D'Angelo Kapp who took over management for nine years leading the company to become one of America’s largest paper companies having mills located all across America produces more than 20 different types daily papers throughout Northeastern PA join many major publications such as “Newsweek”(New York City), Wall St Journal(Washington D C).D'Angelo also ran unsuccessfully for Mayor Of Pittsburgh twice consecutively losing both times

Munhall, Pennsylvania is a town located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,874 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1792 by traders from Lancaster and Yorktown. Munhall became a borough in 1802 and then a township in 1839. On October 15, 1998, Munhall became a village when it merged with neighboring Florence Township to form the present-day city of Munhall. The first settler in what would become Munhall was James Rutherford who built his cabin on the current site of Borough Hall in 1792. soon other settlers followed suit and within a few years there were over 20 cabins scattered around what would become Munhall Township. In 1802, following the creation of Allegheny County, business interests within Lancaster & Yorktown decided to move their businesses away from Lancaster proper & into what would be called "the new county". This left many businesses including those in Munhall effectively out of business & unable to compete with larger rivals like Pittsburgh & Erie; this caused some hardship for these early pioneers but also helped developmunhall into one of the most successful small towns in western Pennsylvania’s history. The first school opened its doors to students on January 1st, 1800 as taught by Reverend Amos Morse (then Pastor at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church). By 1800 there were 5 pupils enrolled which grew to 12 by 1812 when teacher John Minton moved from nearby Conshohocken Academy to open his own schoolhouse on Main Street! In 1814 an addition was made to the building on Second Street which served as both School House & Post Office until 1865 when that building burned down! In 1905 another addition was made - this time for Infant School which served until 1941! Today we still enjoy beautiful old buildings like this one – evidence that even though times have changed significantly since those earliest days there has never been an end to community spirit or entrepreneurship! It wasn't until 1861 that regular transportation began making life easier for residents; buses started running between downtown Pittsburgh and various villages throughout Westmoreland County! These days you can catch bus #5 every day between Union Station & downtown Monahans just south of Canton Road! From here you can walk or take public transportation all the way down Market Square where you'll find several restaurants and shops before reaching your destination - usually just minutes away via either bike or footpaths!. There are also plenty of walking trails available throughout town if you'd rather explore on your own instead Of using public transportation
