Meadville is a small town in Potter County, Pennsylvania, located on the Susquehanna River. The population was 1,562 at the 2010 census. Meadville is home to two gun shops: Gunsmiths Arms and Ammo and Smith & Wesson Firearms. Meadville's history with firearms can be traced back to 1776 when the first permanent settler in the area, John Mead, built a log cabin on the banks of the Susquehanna River. The following year, he purchased land from Nicholas Cowan for $100. In 1827, Isaac Stevens opened his own blacksmith shop in Meadville. Stevens became one of America's leading manufacturers of shotguns and pistols. His shop also produced rifles and artillery pieces for both federal and state militias during the Second Barbary War (1829-1830). In 1836, Isaac Stevens joined forces with George Washington Paper Company president James Kapp to open a paper mill in Reading Township which would become one of America’s largest paper mills. Together they created what became known as "The Paper Mill Gang." In 1854, David Ritchie began making firearms at his father-in-law’s gunshop across the street from his grandfather’s tavern called The Three Masons Tavern (now known as The Olde Hickory Inn). In 1861 Ritchie partnered up with John Fenton to create another early firearm manufacturer—Fenton & Sons rifle company—which was later acquired by Remington Rand Corporation. Sometime after World War II, Harry Chapman began manufacturing triggers for pump shotguns in Meadville. By 1955 he had outgrown hisTrigger Shop into an entiregunnery factory which continues to produce triggers today! Gunfighters from all over Northeast Pennsylvania came to visit Harry Chapman's Factory during their hunting season starting around 1950 until 2006 when it closed due to economic conditions within that industry; however word got out about Harry Chapman's trigger production capabilities so many new shooters started using them that Chapman reopened his Factory late last year!

Meadville is a small town in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,865 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia-based metropolitan area. Meadville is best known for its Meadville Mills and its two banks: First National Bank and Citizens Bank. The first settler in Meadville was Ezekiel Mead who built a log cabin on the property that now forms the north side of Main Street in 1806. In 1813 John Hogg settled on the east side of Main Street and started to grow corn. He also built a gristmill on what is now Fourth Street which became one of the first mills in Butler County. Other early settlers included George Stephenson, who arrived in 1822 as an employee of Anthony Wayne; Hiram Silliman, father of Commodore Cornelius Vanderbilt; Uriah Smith; Elisha Kane; and Levi Coffin (1826-1902). In 1865, when US 6 was widened from four to six lanes, most residents moved away from their original homes near where they had been born or raised and began to build elsewhere – specifically on Manor Road just south of present day Fifth Avenue. Meadow & Third Streets were renamed after these new developments while Third Street remains home to many local businesses today including three JCPenney stores and two KFCs. It wasn’t until 1930 that Second National Bank opened up shop on Third Street as well as First National Bank across from it (now known as CitizensBank). That same year saw population growth with additions to both villages coming from within: Harry Weiler came into town from nearby Mayfield Heights and his family soon added another store onto their lot next door at 5th & Market streets – opening what would become one of Philly’s most popular shopping areas until it closed several years later due to economic conditions associated with World War II (Weiler died shortly after moving into his store). Meadville exploded during World War II with high levels of production because so many workers were needed for construction projects throughout central Pennsylvania such as bridges, hospitals and factories. The mill continued operations even during wartime but ultimately ceased operations due largely to lack of demand following hostilities ended in 1945. Butcher Turnpike was completed soon thereafter making travel between Meadville and Philadelphia much easier so much more jobs opened up for people living hereabouts once again! However by this time 3rd Avenue had long disappeared behind high housing values making it difficult for merchants like Mr Weiler who continued serving locals well into the 21st century despite some redevelopment efforts over time (euphemistically called “Meadvile Square”). Meadville was founded in 1795 by George Mead and his wife Rebecca. The village grew rapidly due to the production of corn, wheat, rye, and other crops. The Mead family became prominent in the town, serving as merchants, politicians, and educators. In 1845, Meadville became a borough. In 1907, the borough was consolidated with neighboring Knowles Township. Today Meadville is a small town with a population of approximately 350 residents. The Town of Meadville was established on March 12th, 1795 by George Mead and his wife Rebecca Meade (née Sell). The first settler in what is now known as Meadville was Amos Coffin who came over from Maryland in 1793. Other early settlers included James Caldwell who arrived in 1800; John Sperry in 1802; Ebenezer Beal in 1807; Samuel Morse in 1810; Increase Mathers in 1814; David Stonehouse Jr. on December 5th 1830; Ezekiel Harding on February 6th 1840; and Gideon Greenough on May 7th 1850. A post office called "Meadville" was established at this location on October 24th, 1800. Because of its distance from any major settlements there were few mail deliveries which forced locals to use smaller ports for trade goods such as flour or eggs until the construction of the Erie Canal made transportation much easier . The growth of industry caused an increase demand for food products so another store was built adjacent to the original grocery store opening November 15th 1830 by David Stonehouse Sr.. This store became known as "The General Store." When Pennsylvania Railroad reached Meadville it began providing transportation services to larger towns such as Philadelphia making it possible for local farmers to sell their product directly to railroad passengers instead of having to transport their goods miles away

They had two children: Sarah Jane and James Dayton Mead. In 1806, Sarah Jane married John Haines of Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. The couple had one child:John Haines Haines Jr.
