They continued to operate their farm and store until 1840 when they sold all their land and moved to what is now Lebanon Township. The last resident died in 1922. In 1844, Lebanon Township was established as a borough within Philadelphia County; it was renamed Lebanon Borough on November 3, 1951. As a borough, Lebanon had jurisdiction over both villages of Hebron and Lebanese Hill which are today located in Allentown/Easton-Middletown MSA
