Ar15 upper receivers were developed in Hanover, Pennsylvania in the early 1990s. The original ar15 rifles were designed as a user-friendly platform that could be fielded by Riflemen and Police Officers alike. Over time, the design has been refined and updated to provide an increased level of performance and accuracy. Today, ar15 upper receivers are widely used by Law Enforcement Officers across the United States and Canada. The origins of the ar15 rifle date back to 1978 when a group of engineers from Colt Firearms Corporation decided to develop a new platform for their assault weapons line. Their goal was to provide an easier-to-use alternative to other firearms on the market. The first prototype of this new rifle was designed using a carbine barrel configuration with 16″ barrels instead of the more common 18+1 inch barrel length. This version proved successful and was further refined over time until it became known as the Colt AR-10E2 (later renamed the M4A1). In 1992, Colt Firearms Corporation merged with Browning Arms Company which resulted in the creation of Browning Arms Incorporated (BAI). At BAI, they focused on developing advanced rifle designs that would improve upon what had been done before by both Colt Firearms Corporation and Browning Arms Company. One such project was redesigning what was referred to as "the golden age" of archery rifles – the bolt action rifle/carbine type. This project saw success and led to development of other firearm models which have since become known as "ar15's". Today, there are numerous brands name Ar15 Upper Receivers available on various platforms including semiautomatic pistols, shotguns, rifles & shotguns - making it one of America's most popular firearms!

Hanover Rifle Company was started by three men in 1971, John Geyer, Dick Hirschberger, and Bob Weitzer. In 1976 they began making rifles with a gas-operated system. The company was bought by George Barnett in 1978 and continued to produce firearms under that name until 1984 when it became known as George Barnett Arms Company. After 1984, much of the manufacturing process was automated using Japanese machines which gave rise to the term "japanese manufacture" for Ar15 Upper Receivers.
Hanover Township was organized in 1814, and named for Hanover County in Germany. The township is located in the present-day state of Pennsylvania and is bordered by Westmoreland to the east, Centre to the north, Clarion to the northwest, and Armstrong to the west. The township has a total area of 21 square miles (58 km²). As of 2010, its population was 14,883. Hanover Township is one of five townships statewide that are included in the Philadelphia Metropolitan Statistical Area. It lies on both sides of Delaware River and shares borders with Bucks County on the south, Chester County on the north, Montgomery County on the east, and Lebanon Valley on the west. The township was first settled by Germans who came from southern Germany in search of land where they could grow crops and build homes. By 1800, most of what is now Hanover Township had been developed as farmland or village sites. In 1814, when it was organized as a separate township within Warren County (now York County), Hanover Township voted unanimously to become part of this new county. At that time it had a population just over 1 hundred people—less than one percent of Warren’s overall population at that point! However, because it lay along two major railroads serving large swaths of southeastern Pennsylvania—the Susquehanna Railroad and Third Pennsylvanian Railway—Hanover quickly became known as a prosperous agricultural community with many businesses such as grist mills and saddlers’ shops feeding into these railways. In 1916–17 when much rural PA farmland changed hands during World War I for high prices due to shortages caused by war production restrictions – including land in Hanover Township – many residents decided not to move into city areas despite offers from friends thereabouts; instead they built their homes around their farmssteads or near railroad tracks providing access to those same resources regardless of weather conditions outside their windows! These days you can still find some farmsteads scattered throughout what used once were dense neighborhoods but today enjoy easy access from all directions via several streets running through them: Easton Street (#1), Park Avenue (#2), Old Mill Road (#3), High Street (#4), Delaware River Boulevard (#5) & Northumberland Avenue (#6). Some additional streets worth mentioning include Spring Garden Drive (& South Spring Garden Rd.), Maple Lane (& Mayflower Ave.), Eisenhower Parkway (& Hawley Pike.), Cornell Road (& Highland Dr.), & Morena Boulevard (& New Hope Blvd.).

As a result, many people built their own receivers without any help from manufacturers. The early AR-15 upper receivers were designed for bolt action rifles and used simple design principles. These early receivers had little resemblance to today'sAR-15 Upper Receivers.
Hanover Township was organized in 1837. It is one of the oldest townships in Pennsylvania. The first settlers in Hanover were farmers and their families who came to the township from Germany in the early 1800s. The township was named for George Washington, who had been president of the United States at the time it was formed. The first courthouse in Hanover Township was built in 1839. In 1847, a post office called Hanover was established, and remained open until 1898. The town of Hanover was founded on account of General Anthony Wayne's victory over Sir Henry Clinton at Yorktown during the American Revolution. After General Wayne's death, his widow donated land to build a town on which her husband's military forces had encampment while they awaited news of his return home from battle. When it became clear that he never returned, her gift became an inspiration for development within the township as well as throughout Pennsylvania; In 1892, a school system was organized within Hanover Township and it remained active until 1978 when it merged into Duquesne County School District #1. In 1922, statehood occurred for both Pennsylvania and Delaware; however, no action taken by either government regarding Hanover Township which continued to exist without any form of government oversight or regulation- until 1933 when legislation did finally pass creating Pennsylvanian municipalities with powers similar to those enjoyed by municipalities within Delaware. This change not only gave residents of Hanover Township more autonomy but also helped solidify its place within local government structures as well as across Pennsylvania; Today, much like back then, life revolves around agriculture and commerce with a focus on providing goods and services to area residents through its various businesses including three grocery stores: One Stop Grocery Shop (HANOVER), Allendale Supermarket (ALLEN PARK) & Hannaford (HANOVER). Additionally there are several other small businesses located throughout the township that provide essential services such as plumbing and heating/ cooling services along with many others that have arisen over time thanks to innovations brought about by technology such as online ordering or cell phone service being available 24/7 right from your porch!
Hanover Township was organized in 1814 and named for the Duke of Hanover. The township consisted of present-day Hanover, Asbury, Buchanan, Delaware, Mifflinburg, Newtown and parts of York and Lebanon townships. The first settler in the township was John Scudder. In 1824, the Township purchased land from Elijah Hicks for $1,000.
