Greensburg is a city in Erie County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 23,865 at the 2010 census. It is the second most populous city in Erie County after Youngstown. The first gun grip was patented on December 12, 1795 by Nicholas-Jacques Conte and named "Pistol Grip". It consisted of a handle that fit snugly around the back of a person's hand with two fingers extended beyond the grip to provide leverage for pulling the firearm out of its holster. In 1824, John Crouse invented what became known as the "Crouse-Brite" grip which allowed shooters to hold their firearms with one hand while reaching into their pocket or purse for ammunition using the other hand

Greensburg, Pennsylvania is a town located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and has a population of 506. Greensburg was founded in 1759 by George Washington and is the oldest continuously inhabited community in what is now Pennsylvania. The town was named for James Greensburg, 1st Baron Dunmore, who owned land near the present-day town. The first settler in Greensburg was John Neely, who arrived in 1759. He built a small cabin on the bank of the Susquehanna River. In 1763, Neely married Sarah Green and they moved to what is now Greenville Township. They had two children: John Neely II (1764-1835) and Sarah Neely (1768-1811). The couple ran a store at Oneida Run until 1814 when they moved to Damaris Place, which sits on today's High Street. They continued to operate a store until their death in 1835. Their son John Neely III (1804-1896) became an attorney and member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1849-1857 and 1865-67; he also served as mayor of Greensburg from 1870-72. In 1814, James Forbes began farming land adjacent to what is now Greenville Township on what are now North Main Street and South Market Street. He named his farm "Greensburgh" after his home village near Edinburgh, Scotland where he had been born some years earlier. Greensburg is a small town in southwestern Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 7,752 at the 2010 census. It is the seat of Blair County and part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. The town was founded by Benjamin Franklin in 1792 as a trading post on the Allegheny River between Canonsburg and Greensburg. In 1814, it became the county seat of Blair County after being moved from Canonsburg. The Carnegie Library was built in 1907, and Greensburgh's first movie theater opened in 1929. In 1940, when World War II started, most of Greensburgh remained out of combat due to its strategic location near Pittsburgh; however, many residents took up arms against Axis forces as part of the local resistance movement. The war ended with Germany's surrender in 1945, ending any hope for postwar advancement for Greensburgh residents. In 1951, entrepreneur Andrew Mellon donated land to create what would become Mellon Stadium—the first major League Baseball stadium ever built outside North America—in memory of his father-in-law (and later president) James Auchincloss III. The park now house multiple professional sports leagues including MLB (), NFL () and PGA (). Greensburgh has experienced various socioeconomic changes throughout its history: during Prohibition years (1925– 1933), it had one of the highest levels of liquor consumption per capita in America; during World War II it became an important manufacturing center for munitions products; following that period there was significant growth in service sector employment; while more recent times have seen declines in both jobs and overall economic prosperity but some growth within services such as health care and tech startups. Today much like its namesake – which stands for "honest trade" – greensburgh remains a community committed to sustainable practices such as agroforestry and solar energy integration into their infrastructure
