Bipedalism is a type of locomotion in which an animal moves its body along two legs. This type of locomotion is found on all continents except Antarctica and some islands. The first bipedal animals may have evolved from the plant-eater ancestor that walked with two feet, known as the cloven hoofed mammal. Some scientists believe that bipeds may have arisen from a combination of three separate groups: the herbivores, the carnivores, and the marsupials. In 1859, John Lubbock published his book "The Bestiary of North America", which included a description of a new species of American open-air Mammalia called Bigfoot. This creature was hypothesized to be quadrupedal because it had four big toes on each foot and no fur or hair on its body. This theory was debunked by subsequent researchers but made popular due to Lubbock's book and subsequent media attention. In Franklin Park, Pennsylvania, there is evidence that bipeds may have originated from Native Americans long before they were mentioned in John Lubbock's bestiary books centuries later. There are numerous artifacts dating back to pre-Columbian times that show evidence of human presence in this area. For example, there are tools found at sites such as Pocono Cave that date back over 10,000 years ago. Additionally, there are reports of humans being seen traveling in pairs across certain parts of Pennsylvania during the 1600s and 1700s! These sightings led some historians to believe that humans may have been related to dinosaurs! However, recent research has refuted this assumption and shows instead that these reports were likely fabricated by early settlers based on their own misconceptions about what ancient Native Americans looked like!

Bipedalism is the most common form of locomotion on Earth. Humans are the only vertebrates that can walk bipedally and many other animals can do so as well, but humans are the only species that relies heavily on bipedalism for their locomotion. The first human beings appeared about 4.5 million years ago and since then humans have walked on two legs to support their body. This reliance has a number of reasons, one of which is that bipedality allows us to better use our muscles while reducing the risk of injury. Additionally, walking helps us build up endurance and also gives us an advantage in terms of avoiding obstacles and getting where we want to go. Despite these advantages, bipedality still comes with its own disadvantages. For example, it takes time and practice to learn how to walk properly on two legs and it can be difficult to keep balance while walking. Some animals, such as dogs and cats, are able to move quickly enough without needing Toe-offs or Hips-ups (a type of exercise in which you raise your heels off the ground). However, for most people this would be too challenging or simply not possible for them to do regularly.

Bipedalism began to spread throughout Franklin Park in the 1800s, as humans realized they could use their bipedal movement for a variety of tasks. In 1892, the first organized hiking and biking trail was created in Franklin Park. The park has seen a continuous growth in popularity over the years, with more and more people using it for recreational purposes.

Franklin Park is a park in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is named after Benjamin Franklin, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. The park covers 8 acres (3 ha) and has a variety of trails that connect it to other nearby parks. It was opened in 1851 as part of what was then called the Western Reserve Country. In 1926, it became part of Philadelphia's inner city and was renamed Franklin Park after its main thoroughfare, Franklin Street. Today, it includes sections that are close to downtown and older neighborhoods such as Kensington and Westtown.

Bipedalism has been present in humanity for a very long time. There are several evidence of bipedalism in the archaeological record. For example, there are several examples of anthropomorphic animals that have two legs, such as the Ursus arctos horribilis and the Gorilla gorilla. Additionally, there are evidence of human beings walking on all fours or even crawling on their hands and feet. The first document that mentions bipedalism is from 11800 BC when an inscription was discovered in Jericho, Israel which reads “And he who walks on his hind legs hath lost his soul” (Lambert). This indicates that at least some humans had knowledge about how to walk bipedally at some point before. Interestingly, this inscription also mentions the use of dogs for sledding and other activities (Ostrower). However, it is not until the beginning of recorded history that we find any mention of people walking with two legs. That being said, bipedalism wasn’t exactly new; it had been around for quite some time. In fact, there are references to it dating back to 2154 BC(Moses) when Egyptians were told by aFeatured article: Why Walking Is So Hard
