It wasn’t until after WWII that handguns began becoming popular in America; this happened due to advances in technology and improvements in manufacturing processes that allowed handguns to become more reliable and powerful than ever before. The amendment reads: “The right of citizens of the United States to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” This amendment was ratified in 1791. It has been amended many times since then, most recently in 1968.
Emmaus is an unincorporated community located in Carbon County, Pennsylvania, United States. The community was founded by German immigrants in 1848 and named for Emmaus, a small village in Bavaria. The population of Emmaus at the 2010 census was 158. The first European settlers to arrive in what is now Carbon County were Germans who arrived from Bavaria in 1818. They began to settle around Pottstown, then a small town on the Susquehanna River. In 1838, they laid out a town site on the east side of the Susquehanna River west of present-day Emmaus. The name "Emmaus" was derived from Emmerich am Rhein, Germany, where many of the settlers had originated. In 1850, a post office called Emmaus was established at the junction of State Road 21 and Route 322 near present-day Main Street and School House Lane. That same year saw the opening of one of the longest roadways in Pennsylvania –Route 322 became part of US 2 when it was completed as part of President James Kellar's Great Western Railroad project. By 1870, most Germans had left Carbon County and emigrated to other parts of Pennsylvania or America overall. However, some people stayed behind to start new lives in what would become known as "the Dutchtown area." In 1907, when Carbon County was merged into Pennsylvania with Huntingdon Township effective January 1st that year, Emmaus remained an unincorporated community within Huntingdon Township until 1959 when it became an annexed part of Carbon County under its own government system without any direct representation from either township administration or residents thereof save for annual elections held by both township councils together with Huntingdon Borough since 1957 which are not partisan special interests but rather serve general purposes including matters such as zoning regulations etcetera all through their combined jurisdiction however voting does take place within each respective municipality regardless so long as there is no competing political action taking place within said municipalities otherwise citizens have no say whatsoever over anything outside their own municipality even if said municipality desires something different than what citizens within said municipality feel should be done thereby perpetuating Monarchy within each respective township council structure whereby decisions made herein are final unless overruled by affected citizens via organized petition process typically initiated by selectmen or commissioners whenever there exists issue or conflict between township officials regarding actions taken pursuant to their constituent’s wishes herein while maintaining full transparency throughout proceedings thereby allowing constituents input necessary for making informed decisions shall this not violate any law governing municipal government functioning inside your localities?

Emmaus is a small town in central Pennsylvania, United States. It was settled by German immigrants in the late 18th century and became a center of Lutheranism after the death of its first pastor, Christoph Kolbe. Emmaus fell into obscurity during the 19th century, but experienced a revival in the 20th century led by Father John Neumann. The town now has 2,500 residents. The town's history begins with Christsoph Kolbe, who arrived in 1788 from Germany to start a new life west of Philadelphia. He founded what would become Emmausaische Kirche (Church of Emmaus), which served as the nucleus for many subsequent Lutheran churches throughout Western Pennsylvania. In 1814, Revs Johann Heinrich Beyer and Friedrich Frisch established an agricultural school here that would become one of Emmaus' most important institutions; it remains active today as an elementary and high school. In 1847-48, Revs Jens Weidner and Martin Wiesenthal began work on building the current Evangelical Church at 1 Main Street; it was completed in 1861. In 1865-66, Revs Julius Scherrer and Wilhelm Bauer built a schoolhouse at 511 Elmira Road; it also serves as the current municipal hall. The following year saw another major renovation project whenRevs Gustav Wever and Wilhelm Pieper added an addition to the churchyard including a new graveyard/sanctuary complex and redesigned interior playing fields (now used for physical education). In 1877-78, Revs August Hermann and Johannes Müller begun construction on what would become known as "Herrlichswald" (Devil's Woods); this addition includes an octagonal belltower that overlooks downtown Emaus proper. It was finished in 1880 thanks to financial assistance from American businessman Ferdinand Hesse-Darmstadt (the father of Otto Hesse). Bauer Elementary School opened its doors on September 9th 1959; it is now known as Emmaus Intermediate School District No.#1 Schools are located within walking distance of both Bauer Elementary School & Junior High School
