Doing this could result in tragedy as unspent rounds can contain explosives which could detonate if mishandled. It's also important not to put anything else between yourself and an exploding cartridge case - including your fingers! Be careful when handling firearms as mistakes can easily lead to disasters.

Elizabethtown is a small town in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the county seat of Schuylkill County and the population was 5,711 at the2010 census. The name "Elizabethtown" was given to it by General George Washington in 1777 as part of his plan to name new towns after members of his family. Elizabethtown has been inhabited for about 3,000 years. The first Europeans to arrive in what is now Schuylkill County were the Dutch in 1665 and 1668. They built a trading post called Fort Christina on an island in the Delaware River near present-day Bethlehem. English colonists arrived from England in 1714 and founded what is now Elizabethtown. The first house built in Elizabethtown was built by John Forbes on February 14, 1718. On November 12, 1800, during the Louisiana Purchase through the Treaty of 1802 between France and Americans, Schuylkill County became part of Missouri Territory under Ulysses S. Grant's administration as part of the Northwest Territory acquired through land cessions by Great Britain and France during the Louisiana Purchase process. In 1824–25 Nicholas Murray Butler served as governor of Missouri Territory before becoming Minister Plenipotentiary to Russia under James Kossuth and withdrawing eastward when that country defaulted on its debt obligations to Russia In 1828–29 William Muhlenberg served as lieutenant colonel general officer commanding all American forces west of Stroudsburg until he resigned due to illness; this left command open for Andrew Jackson who accepted it In 1830 Territorial government moved from Independence Grove (now Clinton) to Elizabethtown where it remained until March 4th 1861 when Kansas statehood came into existence A courthouse was erected at Independence Grove but no trace remains today In 1853 Robert Morris offered land for school district which became Alexander Valley School District In 1865 Union Depot located just south side of current Main Street was destroyed by fire

Elizabethtown was founded in 1768 by the Susquehanna Company as a trading post on the Susquehanna River. The town quickly grew and prospered, becoming one of the most important settlements on the river. In 1812, Elizabethtown became the capital of Pennsylvania. During this time, it was an important stop for traders and travelers on the road between Philadelphia and Baltimore. In 1814, during the Mexican-American War, Elizabethtown sided with Mexico against United States forces. As a result, many of its citizens were taken into custody and held at gunpoint until their release in 1815. Afterward,Elizabethtown experienced a period of growth and prosperity. Many new buildings were built in downtown during this time including a courthouse and jail. In 1846, Elizabethtown was annexed by Pittsburgh after being bifurcated from Allegheny County. This made Elizabethtown an official city within Pittsburgh's boundaries once again. Over the years, various changes have occurred in Elizabethtown such as annexation to other municipalities or realignment within Pittsburgh itself; however, its core identity has never wavered Throughout its history.Today, Elizabethtown is home to several major businesses such as Steel Park Mall and Carnegie Mellon University's School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). Elizabethtown was founded in 1764 by the Trevett family. The town was named for Elizabeth, the daughter of John Trevett. Elizabethtown became a part of the United States in 1784. The first post office was established in 1786. In 1821, Mary Ann (McCormick) Chappel built the first store in what is now Elizabethtown. The town grew rapidly during the 1800s and by 1825, it had a population of over 400 people. During the American Revolution, many residents of Elizabethtown sided with Great Britain. Some residents were able to return to their homes after the war but many others remain in exile in England or other parts of Europe until this day. The Erie Canal arrived in Elizabethtown around 1830 and soon helped to improve local commerce and increase population growth; by 1835, there were over 1,500 people living inElizabethtown. In 1846, construction began on the Buffalo and Erie Railroad which would connect Buffalo with Pittsburgh; within a few years,Elizabethtown had become one of Pennsylvania's most important industrial centers. Asbestos production began to grow rapidly during World War II as troops sought out ways to protect against mustard gas and other chemical weapons used on battlefields all across Europe; asbestos became an essential ingredient in many wartime munitions products including parachute cord and artillery shells In 1957, Elizabethton Municipal Airport opened as one of Pennsylvania's first commercial airports; since its opening 707 aircraft have been registered at ELIZABETHTON MKD airport . Additionally, ELIZABETHTON has hosted several world championships such as skeet shooting (in 1984), swimming (in 1987), gymnastics (in 2002) & speed skating (in 2006).
