High capacity kits, or HGKs as they are commonly referred to in the industry, have been around for a long time and have had a significant impact on the manufacturing of electronic components. Despite this drawback, however, over time Easton has regained some of its lost glory as a busy industrial center with several large companies based there such as PPG Industries and DuPont Corporation.

Easton is a borough in north-central Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 9,711 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Easton is part of the Valley Forge– Carlisle–Kingstown–Morgantown Township, PA micropolitan Statistical Area.
